We also visited Temecula Quilt Company…Cheryl the owner has a different concept in her shop…all I could think of was Pottery Barn…Everything was perfectly staged. It was spacious and very neat and tidy. Cheryl loves little quilts, Civil War fabrics and does mostly her own patterns in her store…You can tell she loves her store and it is her baby… We also stopped in a little wool shop called The wool lady…Ruth just happened to be there on her day off and let us in…The rest of the pics are the wine country and winery’s big storefronts…I tasted some delicious wines…I liked Julia, from Ponte’ and we had almond champagne in dark chocolate shot glasses…hmmmm ..do I have to go to work tomorrow…do you think Nick would miss me if I stayed in CA????…

I was so sorry I missed your class at the Castle. My daughter was married on Sat. the 29th at Ponte winery in the Barrel Room you showed on your blog, and I was busier then you can imagine getting things together. The next time you’re in Southern California I’ll be able to make it to a class. Thanks for all your wonderful projects and idea’s – you’re just amazing.
The weather looks so much nicer there than it does in the Midwest with a -11 degrees and a -29 degree windchill this week.
I’m sorry I missed your fabulous class, Cindy and Emily called on the way home and made me so jealous! You did find my most favorite stores in all of SoCa, just think 15 years ago that was all desert that I drove through to get to Girl Scout camp…..
