Hey Ladies… I want to share some pictures of the 5 quilt shops I visited on Monday before my evening lecture with the flying geese quilt guild…
I know I don’t have pics of all of them….but here are the five shops we visited on Monday…Fat Quarters in Vista…along with Grand Country Quilters…then to the Country Loft and Rosie’s quilt shop in San Diego…then back to Temecula Quilt company a quick late lunch at The PUBlic House and the back on the freeway to go to the guild meeting! Now this was some day!
This part of CA has wonderful shops…next week I will show you my purchases….I am having them “stored”until I come back to CA. Thanks Roxanne for getting me around all day!
The meeting was VERY nice and we sold lots of “woollie” things that night….thanks Char for hauling all my boxes in your suv and for I believe his name was “Mike” for lugging most of them into the school for us!!!! and to all the members of the FGQG for showing me a great time….now onto SLC…crap…it is just getting really nice here…but I will be back in 4days!

Buttons. That trunk is in Rosie’s Calico Cupboard quilt shop.

TEMECULA? You went to Temecula?? I could have had you bring some goodies back to WI for me. Love the antique quilts you picked up.

I am so jealous that you got to visit all of those amazing quilt shops! I love Country Loft and Fat Quarters Qilt Shop! They have such great product and amazing people there to help you out. I am trying to find time to travel to San Diego to visit them, so jealous!

I live here in sunny San Diego. All of the shops that you visited are my FAVORITES. I’ve been going to The Country Loft for over 20 years. My fabric stash has grown along the way. So glad I wasn’t at a shop you visited – I would have acted like I’d just seen a “Movie Star” and probably asked for your autograph. I’m glad you had a nice time. Can’t wait to go to Road to see your booth!!!

Oh Oh my, I would love to have the chance to visit Temecula quilt shop one day. I enjoy their blog so much, thanks to you Lisa, for sharing them, and their free summer blocks of the week last August! Enjoy the SUN.

On my first visit to a winery I told the gentleman I did not know anything about wine. His response: just drink until you find one you like. Best advice ever.
