Another day passes so quickly when we are having so much fun! The ladies in Utah are a joy to teach! After our workshop we went to Maddox for a wonderful dinner and I believe it was a great time for all 75 attendees…the door prizes were fabulous and all the company was even better…
After my trunk show the head waiter came to me and told me that this event was one of his favorites to do and that he thought that all the years have been great, but this year he thought my program and quilts were exceptional! That meant a lot to me…the quilters always say nice things but sometimes hearing it from someone outside gives it a little more justification…but anyway.please enjoy these pictures of another bunch of hard working lovely ladies and their wool project Homegrown…
PS if you want me to come teach for your guild or group just email me and we will see if we can work out a date…but I am pretty booked for this year and next…if I am coming to your town for a show we might be able to work something out?

It just makes me happy to see folks sitting and doing handwork, in our busy world. Hats off to you, Lisa for spreading this love of needlework. Some stitching, a drink and a little chocolate- that’s all you need! I rec’d my new Juki last week and LOVE it. Still working on mastering the needle threader.

So a GUY tells you he likes your quilts and your program was exceptional?! Wow that is a supreme compliment! Especially when it’s not your husband or family! The first time my son Ted me he liked a quilt I was making (after many years of quilting he finally noticed) … that quilt had his name on it as soon as the binding was finished! Well done!

Lisa — loved having you in UT for two days! You are truly an inspiration and I loved all your tips and wonderful stitching techniques! My husband is traveling this week and I am all wools and stitching!
I especially love the Welcome banner done in the red letters, red flowers, and brown bucket. are these reds and brown wools from PG? what are their colour ‘names’ ?? I want to order, but also want to be sure i order the closest colours to match. Thanks!
