I would love to have this light panel! I looked at one like this at the Des Moines show and talked myself out of it. Now I wish I had it almost every time I do stitching or applique. And it wouldn’t take lots of room to store!

My light box consists of a wooden box with a piece of plexiglass on top and I put a desk lamp underneath the plexiglass. It was part of a project my son did in high school. ( he’s 23 now). And it’s heavy too. Needless to say that would be a nice light box to have. Thanks for sharing again.

What a great tool (as are all of your ideas :). Like so many others, my light table is rigged by taking a leaf out of the table, adding a lamp and a “storm” window over the table…It’s a chore and takes some of the fun out of a project.
    Thanks again!

Wow! Great item to have on hand with all of these quilt designs that have massive amounts of embroidery in them! I’m stitching on one of those now and have about 8 more (embroidery quilt) patterns in my stash… not to mention how great this light pad would be for wool (and cotton) applique tracing too (not going to admit how many of those patterns are in stash lol)… hmmmm… I’m going to have to talk to Santa… I could really get some good use of one of these…

LOL… I thought it WAS an ipad or a tablet. These things are so useful, I use a light under a glass table as my light box! Not very scientific but it works.

Hi Lisa & crew! I love your posts for the 12 Needful Things! Most of these are products that I have not yet seen. It’s great to have a quilter & stitcher give a review on these new products. This new “skinny” light box would be so much better than using my large front window to trace with. I even had one of my neighbors stop over and ask me “What in the world are you always doing with fabric taped to your windows?” Obviously she wasn’t a stitcher! :o) Merry Christmas to you & all your PG followers!

I have a homemade large lightbox which is cumbersome. This size would be great for small blocks.

Wow, that is a great tool! I’ve never had a light box—always used the glass door in my dining area. How wonderful an actual light box would be! Thanks for adding this to the list!

I look, every day, for your 12 days of Christmas suggestions, even when I am extremely busy! Love ’em! This light box sure beats taping patterns to the window, which works but is not convenient, especially at night!

I would love to own one of those light panels. It is a bit pricey, but if it is as amazing as it sounds it will be worth it! I have a more bulky light box but this would be sweet!

Boy, that sure looks easier to use than my back porch door window! The silly latch is a little loose and the door busts open if I lean on it too much. I might have to add this to my Christmas list.
