I did not die!

Ok…I have been a lot of places in the last two or three weeks…I know i should be kicked off blogland, but I think i will be able to blog while i am gone, but, I do not get signals on my wi-fi strong enough to post..so I guess i will try to be better in the future…My last post was May 10th…we were getting ready to leave for the Porland Spring Quilt Market, so I will give you a little info on Portland…The weather was beautiful in the high 80’s and 90’s all during the show, so walking to the convention center was very nice here is a pic of the convention center.  Do you see the rails infront…we were able to get around using the light rail. Our plane was delayed getting there on Wednesday, so Nick put most of the booth together by the time we got there at 3:30.   What a guy…. Here is Tina & Brad while we were dining out on the sidewalk on Thursday before the show opened. Tina does all of the Hand dyeing of our wools now.  I think Brad also helps with getting the wools into 1 yard pieces….Tina said she dyed 88 yards of wool the first day after we arrived home from Portland. That is a lot of wool to dye….As far as the show goes, Shawn from Threads that Bind had a lot of great things, see them on our site, and Crab Apple Hill girls had an awesome booth.  They had four booths, 2 on each side of the isle.  One side was Halloween the other was Winter. We will be doing a Halloween Stitchery Block of the Month from them. See that blue ribbon…Well deserved girls!   I also bought a ton of Reproduction fabrics and I am excited to get more of them into the store…I took a few of the quilts made from the lines I ordered from Whindham Fabrics…don’t worry I ordered more than these two….Our booth at the show was too full….should have had 3 booths…oh well….nice lavender carpet#%%#%&…..be back later….Double click on the pics to make them bigger…

Love the pictures you shared, Lisa. I would love to hit a big show like that one or Paducah, Chicago, etc. I would have to have a card with absolutely no limit from the looks of it!!

Can’t wait to see all the great things coming in the store. Am planning to get there soon and shop till I drop :o)

    Hi Lisa,
Did you ever just want to crawl into that pencilpost bed during the show? You are one go-getter girl! I get worn out just thinking of all the places you’ve been in the last few months! (I’m secretly jealous)….my cat hooked rug is almost done! And next year’s weekend is filling fast – only 6 spots left. They see the “Homestead’05 rug” then I do a demo on my frame and show them how easy it is to ‘hook’ and they want to do it. I need some business cards of yours if you have some….some girls are asking where to get the ‘rug stuff’…….Patsy at the Homestead
