just received some texts of the quilt….Pennies from Heaven…it is coming home from Linda, the amazing quilter…
just look at these…the quilts she does for me just get better and better…and this are just phone photos…think was it is going to look like when i actually open the box!!!
If you missed out on this when we did it as a BOM…I can sell you a full kit!…No waiting each month to do the next block…but I don’t know right off hand how many we have left…just something to think about…it is a combination of wool appliqué and piecing…it was so fun to do…the colors I chose for the quilt are a little more primitive than the original, more PG style…are any of you working on this? How far are you…this should inspire you to get stitching…lol…LB
It truly is amazing, Linda does beautiful work and she picked the perfect designs to show off your quilt.

Beautiful quilt. What is the cost of your quilt kit?
Thanks, Patricia
Absolutely gorgeous! Amazing quilting, colors and pattern. I just love everything Primitive Gatherings!!
Did you have a kit?
any kits remaining? cost?
Lisa, after seeing this I called the shop to buy a kit and was thrilled to join the 3rd Block of the Month round for this. I LOVE your colorway choices and was grateful there was a few kits like yours remaining when I called. I have never appliqued with wool – I just recently taught myself needle turn and did well, so I am hoping I can manage this easily. I don’t know what threads etc I need in working with wool. I am going to read your blog back farther hoping to find mention. Your work is SO inspirational to me. I hope this is the first of many that I undertake.
Maria,
I applaud your spirit of jumping in and just doing it…wool appliqué is very easy…just READ the instructions, so many do not. The threads we used are indicated for each block. You can purchase them on our website! Thanks and good luck!!!LB
A week after ordering, I called back and cancelled. Did not have a good customer service experience with PG web store. I really wanted that kit but the hassles to get it and the customer service disappointed me. Yours was a breathtaking sample.
This quilt is absolutely beautiful!
