Hi Lisa

Also, I just LOOOOVVEE your last picture with the wool pennies. What pattern is that? I just have to make it! See you in 2013!

How cool it is to know your blog is reaching so many of us. Thanks for sharing your Christmas with us. Mine was great too. Love my garden BOM. I Solent lots of time on the sunflower pitcher. Everyone thinks the blocks are so beautiful! Happy New Year!
Hi Lisa…I don’t know if I’ll every get a chance to visit your shop live and in person, but it’s so much fun to live through your pictures and blog! It seems that I have the same interests and ideas that you do, so I love everything I see in your shop and home! I wish I got as much accomplished as you do—you’re definitely inspirational!! I had big plans to do so much in 2012, but God blessed us with 2 new grandbabies, so I spent all summer making baby quilts! Now that Christmas is over, and my handmade gifts are behind me, I’m really excited to start working on some “me” projects. Your blog and pictures are just what I needed to get motivated again! Thanks so much for allowing all of us a glimpse of your life, and I hope you have a blessed New Year!
I appreciate your comments they “make my day”…I am getting one son married this year, 2013, so next will be the babies for me too…got to say I can’t wait!!!!!!! Happy New Year…and be sure to make time for what is important to you!
Oh my the photo of the boys playing should be used in a print ad — it is wonderful ! Guess i better get back to stitchen — especially since I have not finished your poinsettia table runner pattern.
It truly is a global world these days with the Internet – worldwide communication about what we love and what inspires us is at our finger tips. Lisa you should be so proud to have inspired, taught, and shared your love of fabric, wool, and quilting with the world. Thank you for all you do! Continued success in the New Year.
Presley and Jeter must be the best, except for my three dogs. Hitchcock, Birks and Brubeck–hound, white dog and a Dalmatian. All shelter dogs and greatly loved very much. Brubeck likes to eat my projects so I have to keep them safe. The other two are pretty good about leaving my stuff alone. I have greatly appreciated all your blogs, advice and projects during the past year. I always look forward to visiting your booth at the Cincinnati show in April Thanks for coming to Ohio. You have dozens for fans from Warren and Clinton counties.. Right now I am working on a penny rug. Love Valdani threads and lots of wool. They are yummy. Brubeck thinks so to sometimes. Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR. Look forward to the arrival of my next order. Patricia D. Roberts of

Hey Lisa, I just have to ask… is that one of those magnet seam guides on your juki? I have a Juki TL-98E that I use on a mid size quilting frame. I got it out after your needful things # 1 post and have been giving it a try for piecing. I’ve tried everything under the sun for marking my 1/4″ (not crazy about the compensating foot that comes with it) never thought about the magnet thingie from years ago. We were told not to use them on our fancy computerized machines. What do you use to line it up with?
yes it is…magnetic from Dritz… i know right where to place it…you will need to test it out…when you got it right, stitch on a business card…then when you need to replace the guide you can use the card to know where your perfect scant 1/4″ seam is
Love the snow. Here in Florida we don’t see it very often! Also love the dogs, their coats are so beautiful. I have a Schnauzer so I’m partial to gray and white. They really seem to enjoy the snow. I really admire your buttons with the PERFECT blanket stitch. I so want to have mine look that good! Practice, practice…
Lisa, it’s a winter wonderland where you are and I know where that is! Lucky girl! The photos are great and what perfect food for such cold weather! I’m making homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner, it’s cold and rainy here in my part of Texas. Happy New Year!!!!!! Can’t wait for the penny pattern and I’ll try the enchiladas….
Lisa, What are you using as a guide on the Juki…..I have a Grand quilter and also need a 1/4″ guide beside the mark on bed….Thank you also for all the great tips and inspiration. When will the UTUBE videos be posted?? Happy New Year!!
a magnetic seam guide from Dritz….works awesome…

Hi Lisa That looks like an awesome way to spend the week-end. I spent my week-end reorganising my quilt shop . My husband had finished building me a new cutting table and some more fabric shelves so it was time for a major shuffles. I love reading your posts and seeing what you are working on. Looks like a heavenly weekend. Thanks for sharing with us. Funny story for you. At the Grand Rapids show I asked Nick what the heck was in the antique spray because my dog at my FINISHED 1st 5 freebies with your summer BOW. He replied he didn’t know but that was nothing because his dog ate his couch. I chuckled and walked away feeling lucky, I still have a couch.

I love the photos of Presly and Jeter playing in the snow. Beautiful pups. I am in Wisconsin right now enjoying your winter wonderland. Came up to spend NewYears with my sister and friends.
Congratulations on all your blog followers.
You actually make it seem really easy together with your presentation but I in finding this matter to be actually one thing that I
believe I might by no means understand. It seems too complex and very large for me.
I am having a look ahead to your next publish, I will attempt to
get the grasp of it!
