I don’t know about you but are the weeks flying by fast??? I am still not caught up…ok…I might have taken a few days off over the weekend but holy cow…seems like its always Tuesday and I have to get the Blockhead blocks done!!! But this weeks block is from Lynne from Kansas Troubles Quilters…The Bowtie Quartet!!! Super sweet!…ClickHEREto get the pattern from Lynne’s blog..I made my block a little different…just added 1 1/4″ squares to the light squares by stitching across them and then pressing them back..trim away the excess and then stitch the blocks together…Here are both my versions…

This week the questions is…What is the best tip you ever learned? I really don’t know when I learned it but I love pressing my seams open especially when stitching little pieces!!!
I know I promised to do an alternative to block 10… a pieced version…I am still working on Jan’s appliqué block…so I’m hoping it will be done by next Wednesday…but…I did get the pieced one done…Click to print Alternate Block 10
This block again will be a little bit of a challenge but it is so worth it!!! Take your time and have some fun!!! Lots of little pieces for a 6″ block!!
