Well I hope you are all as excited as we are tired!!! lol…no really we are excited too…to see all of the work we have done all staged up and ready for you all…I wish you all could come through our doors and see how beautiful the shop is…I will post some pics tomorrow…but I promised a reveal of the last two items…

Here is our 11″x 33″ish runner..I designed this to go on my “behind the sofa table” So its a little skinny but big enough still for any regular table or coffee table.. We have included a cute alphabet and numbers in case you like to date your project…but wouldn’t this make a great gift…very simple piecing and a little wool appliqué!!!  I think my runner was sent to CA, but the WI store will have the one with the year on it..

I took this pic of Jean’s runner while it was being quilted…so it is “in progress”…we cross hatched about every half inch…so those lines will have one more in between as well and crossed the other way…

Then we have the candy cane santa….he is soooooo cute…but his eyes were bugging me so I re-stitched them…much better now…he was “scared straight” Santa…now he’s just jolly old Santa… Now you have seen all four of your projects…I can say I really am happy with how they all turned out…I did a few more Christmas projects and will be teaching these in NC the week after Thanksgiving….you will be able to order these as well…

The shop girls have also been working hard making new projects for this event from many talented designers…like Stacey, from Buttermilk Basin and Bonnie, from  All through the Night…many more but those are a few I seen many samples from…The shop girls also have created all these little quilty gifts for you to buy for your quilty friends…I want one of all of them!!!  Jessica will be blogging about all the things and prices and so on on our shop blog…sometime today yet…so I hope you are signed up for those posts as well…Then another great thing about this years event is our MINI Quilt show….our customers will be voting on their favorite quilt in 3 different categories…Triangles-blue tags Appliqué-yellow tags and then Pieced-red tags….I am not showing ALL the quilts now…I want to give them a whole separate blog post…they are so awesome!!!
