It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like… Christmas?

Hey everyone, happy hump day to you! We’re only half way through the work week, yet I’ve been feeling like tomorrow is Friday every day since Monday. It must have been long weekend over Memorial Day that did my internal clock in. For some reason I just can’t seem to get back into the swing of my usual schedule this week. I guess I need another, “normal” weekend to come and go to help level it all out with a fresh start on Monday, who knows. Either way, I’m very aware that the world will keep spinning and everything will continue to move forward whether I’m ready or not. This is a busy time of year for everyone and as you know, it always goes by way too fast. It seems impossible to cram everything that I want to do into my schedule in just a few short months, but I’ll manage to find a way – I have to! I’m doing my best to enjoy the nice weather now since shorter days and cooler air will be here before we know it… There simply aren’t enough hours in the day!

It might seem strange to be talking about fall already, but in reality now is a great time to be thinking ahead about fall and winter projects. Whether they’re for Christmas gifts or your own seasonal home décor, either way it’s never a bad thing to get started early so you’re not scrambling to finish at the last minute. We all know how the holidays tend to sneak up on us every year… Being proactive never hurts.

Speaking of Christmas, in case you missed my LIVE show on STITCH with Lisa Bongean last week I should take a second to tell you about the new annual specialty boxes Jess has put together this year. If you’re someone who loves Christmas with a passion, our Christmas in July Box, will be right up your alley! This Christmas-themed project box is loaded with 100% Christmas projects including both wool and cotton designs. To make it even sweeter, your projects come in a high-quality, festively decorated box that you’re not going to want to throw away. We’re not showing what the design is quite yet, but you can see how cute they’ve been in years past in the photo below.

Not only are these boxes beautiful, they also make perfect ready-made gifts that don’t even really need wrapping. Convenience aside, the price is definitely also right… Boxes are valued at $170.00 each but are priced at only $120.00 – and that includes shipping! Seriously… There should be no more mystery involved in shopping for that difficult quilty friend of yours… These boxes are a no-brainer and make nailing the gift-giving thing on the head simple! One for you, and a few for your pals. Quilty friend Christmas shopping complete! If you’d like to get a feel for the type of projects that could be in the Christmas in July Box, you can watch the unboxing of one of our past boxes by clicking the link below!

If Christmas isn’t your thing we’ve got something else you might like instead. Our second bonus box of the year is what we like to call our December Specialty Gift Box.” Unlike the Christmas in July Box, the December Specialty Gift Box consists of all NON-Christmas projects. In other words, zero Christmas, 100% everyday projects. It’s the perfect solution for gifts anytime of the year or just to treat yourself for no good reason other than to “stitch everyday.” Have a birthday coming up? Make shopping for your gift that much easier by dropping a serious hint toward this box. You won’t regret it and they’ll be happy to know their gift was a 100% winner. Plus, on top of that, it’s a great deal! These boxes are also valued at $170.00 each but are priced at only $120.00 – including shipping of course. Curious yet? You can check out what was in last year’s December Specialty Gift Box by clicking the button below. Thinking you might want both? Great news! If you order them together you’ll get a $10.00 off discount. You’re welcome! 🙂

I’m pretty excited to say that our Christmas in July Specialty Boxes and December Specialty Gift Boxes are now up on the new website and available to pre-order. You can find them in the “Featured Products” area on the homepage of our new website, or by clicking the link below. Christmas in July Specialty Boxes will be packaged in late July and will ship in the early part of August, 2023. December Specialty Gift Boxes will ship in December, 2023.

Alright everyone! That’s it for today. I double, triple checked my calendar and see that it is in fact THURSDAY tomorrow, which means a couple of things for us! First off, I will be LIVE on my YouTube channel STITCH with Lisa Bongean at 1:00 p.m. CST showing off my works in progress since it’s been a while. Then immediately following that, we’ll be LIVE again on another fun episode of CommentSold at around 2:15 p.m. CST, give or take. If you haven’t given CommentSold a try yet I encourage you to join us! It really is a lot of fun, even if you’re just tuning in to watch. Set your reminders now and have your questions ready! We’ll do our best to answer them LIVE on air. Have a wonderful evening and I will see you all soon! ~Lisa

Would you consider a wool box or a quilty box? I ordered both last year and must say I was rather disappointed. Quality of items was great, but seemed to be mostly wool related items and I personally am not a wool person. So would greatly appreciate being able to decided which one I would like to order, like the mug boxes. I have already ordered both boxes again this year hoping they are at least a little more evenly curated. Thank you and your staff for all you do for your customers.

Sure wish you had specialty boxes specifically with just cotton. Please have pity on those of us allergic to wool. Love my cotton subscription box I receive. I have been a subscriber since it started. Hurray it is June, another box will be coming. Wish I lived closer so I could visit “often”. Thanks for all you do!

Excited for the specialty boxes again this year! Just a side note…could you make the green boxes another color? I cannot read the blue lettering in them and not sure what it is. I would hate to miss something important!! Thank you!
