Wow, what a week! As you know we’re mid-12 Days of Christmas here at Primitive Gatherings, which can only mean one thing… REAL Christmas is right around the corner – and holy snow balls do we have a lot of work to do before then! Between our big Christmas events, several QAL’s, LIVE shows, new project development, special holiday events, and two consecutive weeks of teaching at my Naughty and Nice retreat, there has been little time to slow down lately. That’s ok though. Multi-tasking several projects at a time helps to keep a girl on her toes and her mind sharp, and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. I enjoy the challenge and excitement of it all!

What’s on your to-do list this weekend? I can think of one project you can add to it right now… The block releases for Week #28 of the Twilight Stars Quilt-Along! They are block numbers 31 and 54!

Ahh, and now it’s time for the best part of the quilt-along – PRIZE TIME! In case you’re not aware, you could be eligible for a prize just by participating in the QAL! That’s a wrap, stitchers – for this week, anyway! Time for me to go home and spend the next couple of days recuperating so that I’m ready to hit the ground running on Monday. I have a few things I want to tackle over the weekend in particular, like finishing the binding on my Joyful Gatherings quilt for instance. There are also a couple of projects that I’m working on who’s details I’m keeping a secret at the moment, so I can’t give you much. I will tell you that they involve “new fabric lines” but that’s all I’m going to say. You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out what they are when I reveal them later this month! Of course, I will also be spending a considerable amount of time brainstorming in my sewing room as always, coming up for new ideas for 2024. I have a ton already but they just keep coming.
