Good morning, everyone! In case you were looking for a Twilight Stars post on Friday, don’t worry. You didn’t miss it! Due to technical difficulties on behalf of our blog page host, I wasn’t able to access the site to make one. After a couple of hours and several attempts, I decided to let it ride for the weekend because I needed to get back to focusing on the task at hand… For those of you who don’t know, I’m currently in Rotonda, West FL attending Nancy Zeppelin Parcels’ “Rick Rack Rug Hooking” Workshop at Searsport Rug Hooking with my quilting and travel buddy, Darci. We are having a great time as we always do on our adventures, which I will fill you in more about once I’m home and have more time to explain. For now, let’s talk about Week #30 of Twilight Stars so I can get back to class before someone notices I’m gone!

Again, I apologize for the technical difficulties last Friday, but if you visited the Twilight Stars Info Page over the weekend you were still able to see that the block numbers for Week #30 are block numbers 94 and 97.

As always, thank you to everyone that continues to post photos of your finished blocks to our social media pages. Between the holidays, inventory, our website being down, and the blog page being on the fritz, I haven’t had quite as much time to be running around reminding everyone how easy it is to win a prize, just but sharing your work! All you have to do is post a photo of your completed blocks each week before the release of the next batch, including the required book Triangle Gatherings and Primitive Gatherings Triangle Paper in the picture. Please also include the hashtag #TwilightStarsQAL in your post! Heidi will choose a winner each week until the end of the QAL, which we will announce during my LIVE show on Thursday. Just a reminder to everyone, that our store/site-wide inventory is now complete, and that our website and shop are both back up and running during our normal, winter business hours. Thanks again to all of you for your patience and understanding during the maintenance shut down!!!

Of course, as soon as things were just about to be back to “normal” at the shop, Mother Nature had her own ideas. In case you haven’t heard, due to a major snowstorm headed our way, Primitive Gatherings and The Gathering will be closing early today, Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. CST. We have already received several inches of snow from this storm and it wasn’t even supposed to start snowing until after noon. In other words, the big snow is yet to come and we want to make sure that our employees and customers stay safe during this major winter event! We’re not exactly sure when this storm will be over, so please keep an eye on both the blog and our facebook pages for updates and announcements.

I just have to say, there’s nobody happier than we are to have inventory put to bed for another year! Not to mention how thrilled we are to have a fresh, new Point of Sale system in place that will help us keep better, more accurate tabs on what we have in stock, both in our store and warehouse. I’m also super pumped about our new, interactive events calendar that not only shows what events are coming up for the year at Primitive Gatherings and The Gathering, but also allows you to sign up and pay for classes and clubs right from your computer, tablet, or mobile phone! The calendar can be accessed on our regular website under the “EVENTS” tab, and on my landing page at www.lisabongean.com under the “Events Calendar” tab. You can also check it out by clicking HERE!
