Hey everyone! It’s been a minute since I’ve talked about any of what I consider to be my “favorite” things when it comes to quilting and sewing tools, so I thought I’d take a second to talk about a super solid brand that I really love – Martelli!
In case you’ve never heard of them, Martelli Enterprises is an international quilting company based in Pensacola, Florida that has provided quilters and other sewing and crafting enthusiasts with the tools and accessories to express themselves through their art for over 20 years – including me! They make tools (Martelli Tweezers are a MUST HAVE for wool appliqué in my book!!!), equipment, workstations, and machines for sewing, quilting, and embroidery that are both high-quality and cutting edge – just ask BERNINA Barb! After being lucky enough to have our booth directly across from Martelli‘s at this year’s Great WI Quilt Show, it’s no wonder that by the end of the show she had purchased herself a brand new Martelli Cutting Table!
I can’t say I blame Barb for the purchase. This beauty of a table comes complete with a smooth polyethylene work surface and sides, along with a commercial-grade rubber locking wheels that make moving it around quick and easy. You can raise, lower, and tilt it in pretty much anyway needed to make your workstation as comfortable and efficient as possible. That thing is darn right slick and a real game-changer!!! So much so that I’ll admit, I’m feeling pretty jealous over here! I personally do not own one of these tables YET, but Barb’s recent purchase has me thinking it might be time…
I’m sure that after I have a chance to really get my hands on one of these top notch tables and give it a true test, it will be one of the easiest purchases I’ve made in a while. That’s why I’m super excited to attend the 2024 Sew Crazy Turkey Trot Martelli Road Trip, coming to Primitive Gatherings this November!

Despite the name, The Martelli Turkey Trot is not a race, but a grand road trip that has evolved into one of the most anticipated annual events in the sewing and quilting community. This event has become a hallmark of the Martelli brand, combining excitement, education, and engagement in a way that not only promotes their renowned quilting and sewing products, but also supports a deep connection with customers and fans across the U.S. That’s why I am proud to host The Martelli Turkey Trot here at Primitive Gatherings on November 12th, 2024. Presentations will be at 10:30 a.m and 2:00 p.m. at The Gathering. Admission is $15.00 per person. Attendees will receive a free t-shirt and gift with your paid registration!
