THE STITCH-ALONG:
Get ready to fall in love with wool all over again! Welcome to the Primitive Gatherings Summer Romance Stitch-Along! This, “go-at-your-own-pace” stitch-along is perfect for everyone—from wool newbies and “wanna-bes,” to seasoned stitchers who have seen it all. This back-to-basics SAL will be led by Lisa Bongean, who will share helpful free video tutorials covering project prep, essential tools, stitching techniques, and throughout the journey!
THE QUILT:
Summer Romance is crafted from soft and luxurious Primitive Gatherings wools on high quality cotton, and features brand new, never before seen wool colors making their debut. Think dreamy, melt-in-your-mouth “dreamsicle” shades in a gorgeous variety of colors that will make your quilt truly unique. Finished size will vary per your preference. Options include a 4, 9, or 16 block layout.
HOW IT WORKS:
• The Summer Romance Stitch-Along will officially start in August 2025, however kits containing the pattern and all of the wools you will need to complete the project are available to order NOW so that you can be prepared ahead of time – CLICK HERE TO ORDER your SUMMER ROMANCE SAL PROJECT KIT AND PATTERN!
• Stitchers who already have the required amount of wools to participate in the project have the option to purchase the individual pattern ONLY for $25.00 – CLICK HERE TO ORDER the SUMMER ROMANCE PATTERN ONLY!
* PLEASE NOTE: You will still need to purchase background fabric for your quilt. The amount of fabric you will need depends on what size you are planning to make. Quilt size guidelines are as follows:
– 16 Block Version: finishes at 68″ x 68″ and you will need 5 yards of background.
– 9 Block Version: finishes at 56″ x 56″and you will need 4 yards of background.
– 4 Block Version: finishes at 44″ x 44″ and you will need 3 yards of background.
