Aren’t these little basket blocks so cute! I love making them…do you have them all so far? By now most of you doing Lisa’s Flower Garden should be well into sewing them. Do you have a nice sharp fine scissor for cutting the little pieces? If not visit the site for needful things and purchase a dovo scissors. You will never want to cut without them once you have a pair of these heirloom scissors. Every girl needs a “good” pair if scissors or two or three…I love scissors!

Thank you so much for the basket patterns, I simply love them.
It’ll be a while before I can start though, my UFO’s and BOB’s are taking over my house at the moment LOL.
I absolutely love my little blocks of Lisa’s Flower Garden. I am actually staying caught up on the applique (all done through week 3) and just have my 9 patches to complete for week 3. I don’t think I want it to end!
I purchased those scissors a few months back and LOVE them! You don’t realize how wonderful they are until you have a pair. I can’t even imagine cutting wool without them now! Thanks for suggesting that I buy a pair at one of your classes
Hi Lisa,
I am making the BOM and believe me I have my hands full but I am keeping up on my weeks’s assignment. I love each and every one, especially the little baskets. I will admit I have to keep a sharp scissors, I have two Ginger embroidery scissors but I am going to take your advice and order one of those Davos after I sign off here. I do lots of handwork and can’t find a decent scissor sharpener so I go thru lots of blades. LOL.
I can’t wait each week to see what is new in the mailbox, this is such great fun and I love your designs. I also did your Primitive Garden quilt when you first offered it. It is magnificent. Thanks.
THANKS LIZ!
Hi there! I was wondering where to find the freebie basket block patterns – are they posted on the website or the blog? I couldn’t quite seem to locate them and thought I would ask. Do you do kits for these also available for purchase? Love your site and books and wool! Service is great! Wish I lived in your town so I could come take classes! :O) Bari (ps thanks for the whoopie pie recipe! A friend raves about them – she had them from an Amish friend growing up and now I get to surprise her with some! yay!
the freebie blocks are on my blog and some are in our newsletters which is on our site on the bottom under newsletters.
