michigan treasures

Here are my treasures from MI.  I found them at a great antique shop in Marshall MI.  Grannies Attic.  Terry was very helpful and she has a huge store filled with everything you could want.  I collect this pottery below…I call it “peasant pottery” cause it is alway affordable and i just like it.  I am always on the lookout for quilts, so here is a well loved scrappy hexagon quilt.  Would you believe I paid under $250 for all of this!!!! So visit Grannies Attic if you get a chance.   Well I am trying to get my house in shape and start quilting with my new fabric line…here it sits in my sewing studio…waiting  to be loved….DSC02101

What great treasures you found in Michigan. I like the hexagon quilt, it is a treasure. Your fabric line is great, I can wait to see what you make with it.

I would love to visit that antique shop for the quilt alone – love the hexagon quilt! The new fabric looks very nice, too – I wonder what they will become?
