Saturday was my 13 yr. old niece, Kaity’s first quilting class. She is taking it at the shop along with Madelynn, (Carole’s niece) and 5 other ladies. Madelynn works at the shop on Thursdays and Saturdays and is a Senior at Neenah High School. Kaity will be working at the shop starting this summer. They both are pretty excited about their quilting class. I remember how excited I was…it seemed to take forever for the next class to come…I couldn’t wait to learn the next step…
YES! I did finish my 100 scrappy 6 1/4″ basket blocks….actually before noon today. You are looking at 5 piles of 20… So I treated my sewing room to a sweeping and cleaning. Tomorrow…I will have to decide how to set them…scrappy or just one fabric…
