Buttermilk Basin

Stacy's booth at Minnesota Quilt Show...busy, busy!

I just want to give a shout out about Stacy from Buttermilk Basin.  She has become a good friend of mine and Nick’s (she texts Nick when she’s bored and needs to have me call her, because I don’t like my cell very much)and she was next to us during Quilt Market and this last Minnesota show.  She is starting to do some retail shows and sell some kits to her great designs so look for here website to be updated soon with here new offerings.  She is a blast and just crazy…she called me before market and said that she is getting her hair done before she goes, and that Market is the only time she wears makeup…she was talking about how if customers only knew how we really were they wouldn’t be so “in awe” when they meet us.  I totally agree…but anyway we are going to plan some dates when she can come and do some workshops and you can hang out with her as well!  If you can get here that is…

I love Buttermilk Basin! I just finished the stitching on the new Full Moon Needlework pattern and can’t wait to begin piecing it.

The booth looks wonderful, I love most everything new I’ve seen from Buttermilk Basin, from market. I bought a couple patterns this weekend. :)) I even bought the kits for your cute pin cushions in Summer Gatherings, I know i have the small pieces but it was just too tempting.

This week was quilt show week here in Central Oregon, Thank you for sending your wonderful trunk show to Sew Many Quilts, there were both yours and Staci’s Trunk show there and they were so awesome to see in person. Believe me there was alot of BUZZ about your quilts and I think Sew Many Quilts is pleased too!!

Love the blocks for this years quilt as well and especially love the small basket blocks, bummers one made flight off your boat!! At least you were Boating!! Enjoy your summer, we wait so long and it goes by so fast.

I am glad to hear you enjoyed what we sent…I also am glad to hear it was Stacy’s and our trunk show…I at first thought they must be asking a bunch of designers for a trunk show, so It is nice to hear that wasn’t the way it went. Glad you are enjoying your little projects this year… I am down sewing 12 more…LB

I love stitching on the porch when everyone is just hanging out and watching the sun go down... Look at all those threaded needles... I need another tube as I didn't quite make it..As I roll the quilt I just keep stitching a zig zag pattern as I threaded long lengths of perle cotton...so much fun and to do while watching the babies play in the pool and Momies chase them around...
