Here is another great basket block….threads used are Valdani #12-P12 & O575 AND 3SF-O575 & O775. I hope you love these blocks as much as I love designing them!
Nick & I spent the weekend on the boat. We got some sun, grilled out a lot and I actually got a lot of sewing done. There is one downside to sewing on a boat and that is I lost one of my 3″ blocks, of course it was one that was all sewn. The 20-30 mph winds might have had something to do with it, but I thought I was being careful. I re-sewed it this morning and now it will probably show up! I am sure I am not the only one out there with this kind of problems.
I love them all. But this one’s my favorite!! Tell Nick he needs to make more or your Instant Antique. I’m in desperate need…LOL
I have found that wind is not conducive to sewing. I was sitting out on our back patio the other day, we get a lot of wind here where we live, trying to embroider, it was futile, I finally had to give up. You will probably find your block now that you did another one, it’s Murphy’s Law!
I haven’t lost any to the wind; but I have lost a few. I know right where to find them now- my screened in porch. My cats love wool & if I’m not looking they will steal it & run thru their kitty door to the porch! I’ve had them pull wool table runners off the table & try to run with them 😉
Hey-
I never have problems what are you talking about?!!! Ha ha!!!! I would blame it on the boat driver!!
Anyway – can’t wait to start the project! I ordered the two sets from Jess the other day! How many of these blocks do I have to make????
