Fun to see these Farmer’s wife blocks ! I am doing this too…. I really like it, am hand sewing, and it will be fun ( if I ever get done with it ! ) to say that it is a hand sewn quilt top! Thanks for sharing. It’s always fun to see another’s progress !

After buying this book in Janaury 2010, I immediatly started to make this cute blocks.
Just like Beth said, it’s fun to see the Farmer’s Wife Blocks of other quilters.
Yesterday I made my 42th block and I am sewing them all by hand.
I am sure it will take “some time” but I am going for the Queen-size !
Because the big size of this quilt,I will finish it by Quilt-as-you-go.
So during sewing the new blocks I do the quilting of the finished blocks.
Here in the Netherlands there are many quilters making this quilt.
