May- Farmer’s Wife Blocks…the last bunch

These are the May blocks…sorry…see next post for April…

Here are the last of the Farmer’s Wife blocks.  Sue is busy putting the quilt together and quilting it.  I can’t wait to see it.  Sorry I didn’t get these on right a away…but where does the time go…

I am back from Ohio, were we met a new bunch of great quilters!  It was nice to meet all of you faithful blog followers…now if I could find more time in the day to blog we would be a perfect match.  We have unloaded and started putting up one of the booths for Paducah..then today will be the next one.  Oh…I may have forgotten to mention..we will be in two different locations in Paducah…we got a last minute spot in the Finkle building on Kentucky Ave…where AQS holds their hurt and overstocked book sale.  We had already paid for our spot in the Mall so Nick and Nancy will be at the Mall and Jake, my son, and I will be in the AQS location…so next year if all goes well we will not have to work the mall hours, which is the only downfall of being in the mall.  So after today…I need to get back to designing…and get my things ready for Quilt Market, which will come up fast.  The Gathering is full again this weekend…we have a group of girls coming in from FL and I don’t know where the rest are coming from, but we will be doing a wool weekend…so that will be some much needed wool stitching time…I am piecing with my new line called “Little Gatherings”,  I was told the sales of it are going well and they are very please and have already given me a “new” assignment….The strike off of the  flannels have arrived and I have sent them back to see if we agree on the 40 out of over 100 sku’s that came in….bummer…they are so great, I wanted more, but we have to be a little conservative with the cost of cotton these days…so I will be chatting with you about what I’m working on, what treasures I found at the show and just what’s going on…more to come…LB

    Lisa,
Just spent a WONDERFUL weekend at The Gathering! Your Mom is a great cook, and the house is fabulous. We had a great time, and we’re going back next year! See you in Paducah.

Loved your booth at Cincinnati and most of all enjoyed meeting you! Don’t know how you walked around in the booth all of those days. Several from our guild were at the show and also loved your booth and all that wonderful wool!!! Looking forward to more Scrappy blocks and Block of the Week this summer. See you next year in Cincinnati, I hope. Paula in Kentucky

I’ve been browsing online more than three hours these days, yet I never discovered
any fascinating article like yours. It’s pretty price sufficient for me.
In my view, if all web owners and bloggers made just right content as you probably did, the net can be a lot more helpful than ever before.
