My favorite place to eat in KY…

We went to Pattie’s tonight for dinner…it was fabulous as always…we went with Bruce & Diane from Sew Batik, great people..they are in the Rotary where the antique quilt show is…we stopped in by them today so finalize our dinner plans and I got to peek at the quilts there…This year there is a collection of Pennsylvanian quilts ….they all are fabulous….here is a pic of one below…I don’t want to ruin it for those who are coming, so this one is for you who can’t be here..l just love the green print used in the background…i know this pic will not do it justice, but imagine how it is in person…this is not my most favorite quilt at the rotary, but close to it…if any one who reads this and goes to the rotary show…sends me a pic of what they think is my favorite quilt… I will have a prize for them…now only one try per person…send it to: lisa.bongean@yahoo.com by emailbr />

I am in mourning. This is the first time in 24 years that I am not in Paducah. We decided to take a break for whatever reason. We always went to Patti’s for dinner on Friday night, prom night. I hope next year to go again. Love the quilt. I wish you much success.

My girls know how to pick and put fabrics together!😍love my blocks!#primitivegatherings #reproductionfabrics Lots of hand quilting in the last two days... I love stitching on the porch when everyone is just hanging out and watching the sun go down... Look at all those threaded needles... I need another tube as I didn't quite make it..As I roll the quilt I just keep stitching a zig zag pattern as I threaded long lengths of perle cotton...so much fun and to do while watching the babies play in the pool and Momies chase them around...
