summer stars from Temecula Quilt Co…

Anyone else stitching along this summer with Sheryl from the Temecula Quilt Co.?  I am…I look forward to her blog post every Friday with a new 4″ little block…I do this just for myself…a little treat at the end of another hard week…visit   www.temeculaquiltco.blogspot.com and sign up to follow her blog and receive these cut little blocks every week…Sheryl specializes in small little quilts.  I visited her shop last year and just loved it.

I was just checking to make sure my link worked and realized I did not get #6….I will have to go now…I am going to stitch it…I cannot be behind…it is all about finishing!  I will be in MI tomorrow…off to teachat Cousins Quilt shop before the Grand Rapids AQS show…I am taking the SS Badger over the big lake…i will be stitching for 3 lovely hours instead of driving in Chicago, can’t beat that!

Yes, they are fun little blocks to sew! My little summer treat squeezed into a few moments I can find for myself :0)
Your blocks are darling! You’ve used such lovely fabrics.

I agree, Lisa. A ferry ride on beautiful, blue water beats fast speeds on road. Thank you for the link to Temecula Quilts. 4″ blocks are much smaller than I usually sew but I’m willing to try.

Riding the SS Badger is such fun! Wish I was there and I am so happy they are still making the trip across the lake!

Thank you for sharing the link to Temecula’s Summer Blocks. These are great little blocks and will be great to make with smaller left over fabrics. Gotta go, I have to sew and catch up!

    Hi Lisa!
I am asking for a favour. I am doing the Wool block of the Week! I love it!
But when you were worried about enough fabric, I had offered to take blue vs black fabric for the finishing kit.
I bout my own fabric. Could I please just purchase the wool fabrics and patterns to finish?
I’d even take 2 wool finishing kits of wool to make up for the cost. The wool is wonderful and I’d use it in a future project.
    Thanks, Leslie
