Here is the info on our Pieced SBOW….SHIPPING STARTS JUNE 3RD…
We are going to do 12 blocks each week…now before you say, 12 blocks!!! They are pretty easy. You cut the same pieces from every fabric, and I have given you a little wiggle room in case you make a boo boo cutting. I am cutting my remaining fabric into 1 1/2″ strips. The fabrics will all be designer civil war reproductions from Marcus, Andover, Windham, Blue Hill, Moda and so on…Here is the first set of 12, shown below: The rest of the details are…
14 weeks…total. makes 168 blocks, 6″ finished, using 84 different lights and 84 different darks for a total of 168 fabrics. This would be an awesome stash builder if you just wanted to collect the fabrics…
At least 8 1/2″x 15″ is the size of each of the fabrics… Each week you will receive 12 fabrics at a cost of $12.50 per week. The quilt will be set 12×14 for a measurement of 72″x84″. If you would like yours bigger you can always add a border.
Shipping will be $3.50 per week. If you are in the WOOL BOW-Words to Live by… and want to do both the shipping will be $6 for both. If you want to pay in full it will be $175.00 plus the shipping. I HAVE NOT GIVEN A TOTAL FOR THIS BECAUE IT WILL DEPEND ON IF YOU ARE DOING BOTH, AND SO ON…If you have an order in for the Wool Bow just email the shop and we will add it to your first bow order.
primitivegatheringsquiltshop@yahoo.com is the shop’s email…
Here is my inspiration for this year’s pieced version:
Permanent Ink pens for the Wool SBOW Words to Live by will be $2.50 each. You will love this pen…you may want more than one…if you want us to add the pen, again email us and we will add it to your summer block of the week. I have tested it in hot water and had no bleeding or running…
Please sign me up for the pieced BOW. I have already ordered the Words to Live BY BOW. You can charge the whole amount at once for this one also. I guess I need the pen too! I have a card on file if that would apply. Do you think I’m hooked????? Thank you. Pat DuBois 2484 Timberlea Drive Woodbury, MN. 55125 651 731-2162
Hi Lisa — Although I am not doing the BOW, I’d love to know more about the permanent pen. Like you, I’ve never been a fan of Pigma. I don’t want to bother you by ordering just a pen, but if you could provide info about the Brand/style etc. I can go looking for it on my own. I am getting ready to use Snowman Gatherings for a project. Those are the cutest snowmen I’ve ever seen. THANKS for sharing your creativity.
Gena…
I cam across the pen by chance…the company who make the new frixion pens sent me some of their samples…it is by Pilot and we now have them on our site. $2.50. It is ultra fine and precise. So it works perfect for what I am using it for.
Lisa, for the past three days I have been trying to order the finishing kit for the Wool BOW, and when I get to the payment part, it just says, “Order now” with no buttons to choose how to pay. I am a frequent buyer so I am familiar with your shopping cart order process. I will call my order in later today, but I just want to give you a head’s up that others may be having a similar problem. Thanks! 🙂
Okay, now I placed an order with other items and added the finishing kit, and it worked. The finishing kit had a price of $2.50 which I realize is not the real price, but maybe that is why it worked? Originally, I purchased only the Wool BOW, and then went back later to purchase the finishing kit. Maybe because it had no price, it didn’t work? Oh well, it just worked now! Thanks for your help! 🙂
Lisa – needing a new iron and I can’t remember the model Rowenta you recommended at the wool class I attended at Road to California. Please refresh my memory!
