I live on a lake in beautiful Butte Des Morts, WI. I have three sons: Lance (forever 29), Luke 33, Jake 32, and two grand-babies, Little Man and O-Bug. I've been married to the love of my life Nick, since 1998 when we started our crazy adventure together! I am a quilter, rugger, and gardener. I also love to cook when I get the chance. Thanks for visiting and supporting Primitive Gathering Quilt Shop where I try to bring you the best Moda fabrics and wool projects anywhere!

  1. What is more beautiful…the ladies or the quilts?? I vote for both. What is the name of the pattern? Love the colors…

  2. Thanks for sharing the wedding quilts!! I’m sure little Talia will remember this wedding forever!

  3. Such beautiful quilts to celebrate their beautiful marriage! Such a proud little flower girl to have her very own!

  4. Lori, What a wonderful gift. I would have loved to have been gifted with a quilt made by my mother or mother-in-law 54 years ago when I got married. What a treasure to pass on to the next generation. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Marlene

  5. What a beautiful keepsake you have gifted her. My mother made a wall hanging for myself when I got married. It proudly hangs outside my bedroom door. It is a gift that will be treasured for generations.

  6. I loved seeing all the wedding pics–I feel like I know you all and have just missed a major family event. Dang! Beautiful family and little Talia hammed it up. She is precious.

Now I loved the quilt gifts. I want to make one just like it for family too. I see in the comments that you have the pattern in your store. I’m going there right now. When do you sleep lady? I hope your family knows how lucky they are.

  7. Lisa those quilts are beautiful! How wonderful making a smaller version for Talia making her feel so special! What a smile! 💝

  8. Beautiful seeing it done. Amanda and I were at the gathering when you were working on the big one. great to see it finished!

  9. Lovely quilts for two lovely ladies. The neutral colors are beautiful and what an appropriate pattern. They both look so pleased with them too.

  10. I enjoyed all your wedding photos, thanks for sharing such a special event in your family’s life.
