I live on a lake in beautiful Butte Des Morts, WI. I have three sons: Lance (forever 29), Luke 33, Jake 32, and two grand-babies, Little Man and O-Bug. I've been married to the love of my life Nick, since 1998 when we started our crazy adventure together! I am a quilter, rugger, and gardener. I also love to cook when I get the chance. Thanks for visiting and supporting Primitive Gathering Quilt Shop where I try to bring you the best Moda fabrics and wool projects anywhere! View all posts by lisabongean
Love that piece, I just finished mine, thought I took a few short cuts.
Debbie
We are loving working on this quilt in our monthly wool group!! It’s been such a busy summer for us- and about to get busier!, so I just got time to sit down and look at your gorgeous family wedding… Stunning!!! Thank you SO MUCH for always making your fans feel like friends!
Looks like a great workshop that you’re giving. I love the flower garden mat and just might have to make it one of these days.
Looks like a great time.
I want to do that too! Will you come to Mesa Arizona. The quilters Oaisis has a great new class room. Think about it, it’s nice in the winter.
Wow! Beautiful flower garden… Looks like everyone is loving the project too! Wish I could have been there!
Looking forward to a workshop in our area! Looked at that pattern at your AQS booth and love it! Hmm, now wishing I had bought it!
So glad you show these picture’s, I have this pattern and have been a little afraid to start, but this looks pretty easy!!
Looks so pretty, and fun too. Wish I was there. Maybe I have to make this one. and I too loved the wedding pictures.
Beautiful. I have this pattern but think I need a class. I have seen it finished and it is just lovely.
I want to do another class….you are such a great mentor/teacher. You give so much to your classes. This looks like a great project. Thanks for sharing. You’re the best! Marlene
Like it!!!
This is beautiful. I do not have the pattern, but sure would like it with a class.
OMG. It is beautiful. I hope my shop is big enough one day to have you.

Awesome wish I was there
This workshop looks really good. Only wish I lived closer.
So nice to see you and chat with you in Grand Rapids! You and I talked about this kit and I do love it and I must make it … on the list it goes!
I love, love this wool project. How can I get a pattern or kit. I live in Phoenix and would welcome going to one of your classes at the Quilters Oasis in Mesa, AZ. Please respond. Also loved the wedding pictures, it looked like a beautiful day with friends and loved ones.
You can purchase it thru Lisa’s shop website, Primitive Gatherings.
Beautiful final product! Wish you would come and teach in Western New York!
Oh, that’s really pretty! The different blacks in the background make the colors pop! I will have to check that one out.
Just bought this pattern. If I could take the class I certainly would. These pictures are certainly motivating. Thanks for sharing. See you in Madison!
Lisa, are you going to teach this class in Menasha? Would love to make this one.
absolutely stunning!
I must have picked this project up 10 times when I visited you booth in Hershey. This is on my wish list for next year. Still working on last summer’s block of the week. Beautiful piece.
Looks like everyone is having loads of fun and a very productive day!!!!
Love to watch these gals working on their projects!!
That looks like such a fun & beautiful project! Do you ever think of having online classes for a fee? I think we all want you to come to our cities and teach…you need clones! Hehe I truly enjoyed your class in Corona after Long Beach!! Definitely will attend another of your classes.
Where were you teaching this workshop? The mats look absolutely gorgeous. Wish I were there too.
Where are you at in MI?? I am here too and if I had known about it…I maybe could have come. I am visiting my kids and watching my grandson while his daddy finishes his drill as a Marine reservist and his momma works the night shift in the ER. I just can’t believe I didn’t know about this. Looks like fun, though. Thanks for sharing all your workshops.
I constantly spent my half an hour to read this webpage’s articles or reviews everyday along with a cup of coffee.
Where can I purchase the black fabric for the piecing? and the background?
