AQS Des Moines…Wool Classes…

It has recently come to my attention that we did not have the workshops listed on our website that I am teaching in Des Moines in the beginning of October the 2nd -5th.  If you are attending the show, know someone else who is going or if you want to take a Working with Wool class, Please look at joining in on this workshop or tell someone who may be going about it!!!  We appreciate your help in letting people know about this opportunity.  I promise even if you have worked with wool…I will be able to teach you many things to help you with your wool projects….

I have included all of the info here so please pass it around!

If you have taken one of my classes please leave a comment here if it was worth it!!!

Again…I appreciate any help we can get to fill these two classes.

My best…LB

I have actually taken both of the classes for the pumpkin mat and the Christmas table mat. Lisa is the best! She makes sure that each person gets the attention needed to understand how to do wool work. Don’t hesitate to take these classes.

I have taken class from Lisa several times and it is definitely worth it. That first class was the best class I have ever taken as it opened my quilting up to wool appliqué. Lisa’s wool working techniques make working with wool easy, fun, and end result is beautiful. My friends and I were just walking thru a quilt show and stopped to look at a quilt that was entered. We could tell immediately that the maker had not been to one of Lisa’s classes. Lisa’s wool appliqué quilts are neat and finished beautifully. Lisa’s wool working classes are well worth the price and you will end up with a beautiful product.

If you are lucky enough to be at the show…take the class. It will be worth every second of your time. Lisa is an excellent and patient teacher. My wool hand worked improved immensely once I was taught by Lisa….you need to learn all her tips and her techniques!! Don’t miss out on this opportunity – learn from Lisa, she is the BEST!!!

Are you teaching a class at the Houston show? Would love to attend if you are but I couldn’t find a class on the lists for Houston.

If you can, don’t miss this opportunity – I took Lisa’s class in Hershey – she is so wonderful and gave so many tips and made the class really fun. It is worth every $$ really great teacher and the finished project is so wonderful – I’d take it again!!

Oh my gosh! Don’t pass up the chance to attend one of Lisa’s wool classes. My friends and I just took a class at Hershey this summer and picked up lots of tips and tricks. Lisa is a hands on teacher and works with everyone! We had lots of laughs on top top of everything, she is amazing and you leave her class inspired!

I took Lisa’s wool class in January this year. She taught her new Snoman Gathering quilt with wool snowmen.
I just finished all the appliqué on nine blocks. I loved it. It was so relaxing for me . I can’t wait to add the borders and quilt it. You will love her class.

I have had several classes with Lisa. You will learn so much. Once you do wool projects and see how fast they are to do you will want to do more. No one has the selection that Primitive Gatherings has. And there wool is wonderful. Nancy P.

I also took Lisa’s class in Utah in January. I had never worked with wool before and I came away from the class feeling like I could tackle anything–and I have, with beautiful results. My projects do not look like they were made by a beginner because I feel I was so well taught. No questions were left unanswered. Lisa makes sure everyone gets a chance to see everything clearly and have their questions addressed. It is well worth it. The best class I’ve taken so far. If I was near enough to Des Moines I would take it again in a heartbeat!

I have taken a class with Lisa – you get twice your monies worth! She will work with you individually, no matter how many are in the class. Her tips are worth the price of the class. She is the BEST instructor I have ever had and I have taken lots of classes on quilting and other stitching venues. If I were able to go to Iowa I would take her class again. Marlene

If you have a chance to take a class, take it. I took one a year and a half ago. Was wonderful. Loved it and learned so much. If she ever teaches in my area, and I know about her class, I will be there.

If you ever have a chance to take one of Lisa’s classes you will be so rewarded with all the knowledge you
gain – whether you’ve been stitching for years or are brand new at stitching! Her techniques and methods
are so helpful to see & learn. Like all who replied before me, she is a wonderfully gifted teacher, makes
sure all in her class understand what she’s demo-ing AND she’ll leave you wanting more!!! More of her,
her products et al!!!!! JUST DO IT!!!!

I took your class for the Christmas table mat when you came to Alabama 2 years ago. It was my first wool piece, and I love it. Since then I have come to know your web shop and love to read your blog. I have ordered kits from your web shop, and you are very generous with the wool and fabrics. Thanks so much!
