The sunflower projects are beautiful. That is my favorite summer flower, not only because they are so magnificent but they also provide food for the birds. I love to see fields of them in the fall. Pat
Robert – Dad has always been my hero! It wasn’t so much the things he did with us but it was the fact that when my mother passed away she had left him with six children between the ages of 2 – 15 yrs. old. My dad was encouraged to split up the siblings as he worked so many late hours but he refused. We all learned how to make do and to accept additional responsibility. Fifty years later my siblings and I are still very close and although much of our memories of our dad are of him being strict, we appreciate that fact that his love for us kept us together and showed us what persistance determination, and family means!

My dad is Dick and he still is working everyday at the age of 74, and he loves to tell stories, life stories! Sometimes he gives more details then some people want/need but that’s dad! I’m so glad for the stories!

My dad’s name is Audie. He is 85 years old. I am so thankful that he is still with us and I get to see or talk to him daily . My favorite memory of my dad is the love he has for his 10 brothers and sisters. He grew up in Kentucky, dirt poor and had to work hard for anything he wanted. His mother died when he was 7 leaving his dad (my grandfather) raising 11 children by himself. The stories he tells about his youth, I can listen to them for hours. Love how he would do anything for not only his children but also his brothers and sisters. Love you DAD!
My dad was a hard working, Michigan farmer. He loved my mother, so much. He’d pinch Mom’s backside as we did the dishes and he was heading back out to the barn. Mom always said that was his way of saying ‘i love you’.! They were a love srory to look at.
My Dad’s name is Don (he is 82) – I’m 56 and still Daddy’s girl. Dad helped to design and build our current home and there are many memories of working side by side in every room. Carpentry was just one of his areas of expertise. He was the Fire Chief for many years , active in our Voluntary Fire Department for over 35 years. He is very community minded and involved- he has shared of himself and his talents for so many people. I have learned much from him. There is nothing like a Dad’s love and example.

My Dad’s name was Ernie Paul, A very fond memory was his teaching me to drive, he was funny and so patient. He ate peanuts and oranges, so I heard cracking shells and smelled like I was in an orange grove. This was in the 50’s. Now at 74 years It seems like yesterday. I enjoy your blog and your talent.
