Just thought I would send out a post and tell you all what going on…First…Its fun to see the college kids come back to work…JJ, Dominic and Abbey are helping the warehouse girls…Lynn, Sherrie, Rose, Rose(foxy) and Robin get all these SBOW’s ready…They all freak out that I don’t have it ready yet!!! Then magically in a couple of days I can have 12 blocks drawn, 2 stitched with sashings 3 more fused and all 15 of the FREEBIES fused and 2 stitched, the Freebie is called “To Plant a Flower…”all the threads picked out and now I can concentrate on stitching…oh wait…Row by Row?…Ok..got that drawn…Wisconsin Shop Hop, Amy pieced this for us…I just wrote directions and Val is quilting, can’t wait to show this off…all coming soon….its really non stop!!!!
I decided I would spend sometime in the evenings in my garden, which I have been neglecting for a couple of years, but not this year!…photos of gardens today and a photo bomber…I also have had a bad bad cough and sore throat that kicked my butt earlier this week…Much better today…thank GOD it is getting better…there is no time to not feel good.
First, I love your dog ! Your petunias, your columbine, your iris, your peonies, my favorite flower. Then your lilacs, baptismal, hosta, moss roses, day lilys, and all of your garden art and rocks. I know I didn’t name them all, but it is a beautiful garden, you must be very proud.. It looks fantastic. I think a lot of quilters love to garden! Thanks for sharing!
It’s Winter here in New Zealand. Lovely to see your beautiful garden . Love the last picture they are my colours I love to use in my Quilts. Thanks for sharing.
You have a beautiful garden. I do hope when the peonies are in full bloom that you’ll take another picture of them all and post it. I got only one bloom on mine this year. I’ve got to check with the nursery and see why. Yours obviously love where they are planted.
May is beautiful in North Carolina and I love to see how gorgeous it is in your yard. My peonies are gone, but so spectacular when they bloom. Thanks for sharing, Karen
Your garden is beautiful everything is so nice and green. Out here in Southern California everyone’s yards are turning brown. We are all afraid to water because of the draught DWP is threatening to fine you if you use to much water. Was planning on landscaping but I guess we have to wait my yard looks so depressing
You have peonies. I love peonies and miss them so much since I moved to Southern California. Maybe you could do a peony block. It’s so nice to see the young college students working with your company during the summer.
Love seeing the orderly rows of kits, and smiling workers.
Ah, what beautiful garden shots. Such a lovely variety of flowers. They certainly don’t look neglected to me.
Hope you are back to 100% quickly!
Love all your flowers and garden art. Glad you are taking some time to do your gardening. I find it to be very relaxing. Really looking forward to SBOW.. hopefully I will do better keeping up this time!!! Thanks to you and all your staff for your hard work. Ya’ll are awesome!!!
Your garden is stunning! Me, I, tore mine out…decided if I cannot eat it, I am not growing it! Spent the day planting tomatoes and green peppers…not as stunning, but yummy! Love the SBOW!!
Hi Lisa, your garden is gorgeous! So many of the flowers remind me of my chidhood home in Ohio. So beautiful! Gotta love the photo bomber, your dogs crack me up, and the saying about beautiful souls is lovely. Great pics, I can almost smell the flowers! Hugs, Jakey
Wow what a lovely garden. I love your peonies. Here in New Zealand we are heading into winter (not my favourite season) so my garden is looking very bare.
After seeing your lush and beautiful garden, I see where you get the inspiration for your lovely quilt designs! Both garden and quilts are just spectacular. You are so talented and I just love to see all that you have to share. You are a blessing!
Your yard is beautiful. I love it. My daughter is coming from Reno today to help me do some yard work. Is that not a wonderful birthday present from her. I am so excited. Thanks for sharing
Your garden is lovely! I wish I had the time and talent to make such a beautiful place. I can imagine sitting on your porch and stitching or knitting. I love all the flowers in bloom and especially the SBOW “flowers” blooming on the table. What an amazing picture of the summer project that will unite us all! Thank you for all you do!
Your garden is beautiful! I do not know how you find the time to do all the stitching/quilting you do and have a garden this lovely! Have a blessed Summer.
