I hope you are all having a great summer….I am trying to do some fun stuff along with all the deadlines I have to make!!!
I have been to SeaWorld in SanDiego…I have been hanging out at the Lakehouse with my Family..and friends and trying to see as many Sunsets as I can..
I have been teaching ALOT also…At the WI studio..
I forgot to take pics of the 2 Day Crazy Mat class…sorry Ladies…
I also want to share some of the samples that were brought in to the CA shop over our Grand Opening!!!
Here is Linda’s Timeless Rose quilt…and then we have Marsha’s Dashing Through the Snow…
then some wool pumpkins on Midnight Harvest made by Cindy…
It is so awesome when I teach a class and then the next time I’m at the shop someone brings in their finished project..here is Trina and her sample from our Punchneedle class…
Then Jo shared a couple of things…little Thimble quilt…see how she placed her colored thimbles?…along with a SEW pincushion..
Again…so much going on…I’m stitching ALL the BOW’s. Both from the WI shop and the Little Bow Ties from the CA shop..
We also are planning a wedding for the end of summer for these two…I think they were enamored with ‘little man” and want one of their own even more now!!!also last but not least I finished the FREEBIE…I will show it as soon as they get it on the website…lol…so coming soon! Enjoy the nice weather and get those BOW fused down or cut if you are doing the pieced one…and then when you have little moments of time you can use it well! Make the best of everyday….and STITCH! LB
oh…one more thing…I am seeing lots of cool wildlife at the Lake…like this huge toad…he was as big as Luke’s hand..and then this big beautiful Moth…
Until next time!!
What pattern is the one the ladies are working on with the watering can and flowers? I think that is really nice. Thank you, Julie Goedeke

My summer is off to a wonderful start with a trip to Kansas City, KS for the quilt show. A big highlight was meeting Jessica in person. She is always so helpful when I call with an order or question. Took a second to register with me that Jessica (always check out name tags) was there to help me. I was so excited to meet her that I may have yelled, “Jessica”. Big hugs and a quick visit before I finished finding many goodies and telling friends that Jessica will help you. Then, I got to refer others throughout the show to do their shopping with her.
Think your next store should be in Kanas.
Baby Jace is just precious! He is really growing. Love seeing all of the other pictures too.
How can I get the pattern of the tree quilt in have in your photo?

Lots of fun happening and lots of more to come. Hope you and your family have a fabulous summer. Hope to see you soon.
Should plan a San Antonio trip. We have Sea World. Can’t wait to see you on the cruise. Enjoy the baby. Best part of life.
Love the sunset!
Oh, cute, cute baby face!
A wedding? Happy day! Congrats! You have a very busy summer, lady.
Wonderful stitching on that center flower of the wool block.
Gorgeous moth–the toad, not so much. : )
Good to hear that with all your work you are still able to find some time to enjoy the lake house. Beautiful pic. Hope to visit your Menasha store next month when I get up to Wisconsin to visit family.
I loved your “Working With Wool” class! I have everything blanket stitched and am working on the vines…it’s such a cute runner. Thanks for sharing your art.
Enjoy your summer,
Leanne
Lisa, I just left the Vermont Quilt Festival and this quilt in the antique section looked like one you would love. It was absolutely wonderful. The squares were less than an inch! It just twinkled.

So glad you are able to enjoy the lake and some free time during the summer. You have such a busy schedule and deadlines that I’m sure you cherish every free time moment with family. Also glad that you are still making the beautiful designs for us. The summer block of the week is absolutely awesome. Looking forward to seeing you in August at Cousins in Bellaire.
