My cousin Mary from DE is coming in for Luke & Brooke’s wedding and she is willing to teach us how to make a tuffet!!!
The class would have to be August 24th and there would be required strip sewing that would have to be done ahead of time…you will need 40-2 1/2″ strips or a Jelly Roll would work awesome!!!
The class fee would be $50 per person and we would include lunch. There would be kits available for all the necessities and we would have a air nailer ready..
$150 for kit (includes shipping and will be charged at the time of signup)
Includes:
6″ foam (18″ round)
17″ round 3/4″ plywood
Button Form
T-nuts for the bun feet to screw into
Tuffeting cord (will not break – needed for button and bottom of cover)
36 x 36″ upholstery batting
4 bun feet
$20 foundation fabric for cover (muslin cut and marked)This is what the 2 1/2″ strips are stitched to.
I know this is a little pricey for this but it is oh so cool…the navy, yellow,grey one is mine that Mary made for me from Lakeside Gatherings…I just love it and want to make one too!
I am putting this out there to see if there is any interest…it would be at the Menasha WI location at my Studio!!! Anyone interested ? Please call the shop and we will let you know if we have enough signups for a class…
