A few NEW Patterns for Christmas

Hey Everyone,

While you are hopefully cruising our site wondering what you are going to purchase for your $25 investment to get all of the “free” stuff I want to share 3 more patterns that I have been working on…and I really mean working on…I had to do 2 sets of everything!  There was only one thing I did not make the 2nd sample of and that was the tree mat..which was one of the easiest and I know Jean made that 2nd sample in a morning, a couple of hours.  Everyone of these designs has a tree because that is what we are celebrating this year in 2015! So here are the first set of three ornaments called Yuletide OrniesYuletide Ornies…I first made the truck and… I really made the truck for the Buttermilk Basin blog hop and then Debbie posted a truck and tree!!!lol..what ya going to do right?…so I had to come up with another for that blog hop and just a reminder I will be pulling my pattern for that ornament by Dec. 1st to go and print it NOW, if you didn’t already.

So here’s the story on the truck…I found another  vintage truck this year that I L-O-V-E… IMG_4308I found this turquoise one last year, very modern color! lisa bongean/primitive gatherings  So I wanted to make an ornament with this combo of truck and tree… The next up is a snowman on tree…I wanted to use the tree as the background and appliqué things on the tree..so a snowman was fun and easy…then the Santa…I wanted to figure out how to make the tree separate like Santa was holding it and actual tree not just an appliqué…so I think he turned out awesome…the tree rests under Santa’s mitten like he is really grabbing on!!!  The Yuletide Ornies pattern includes all three designs and  is $10, the pattern with the kit is $25.

Then as I was picking out lighting for our new house that is being built…I was begging for mason jars…but you know how that goes…I ended up something like mason jars…so while I was sulking about it I thought I’m going to make my own mason jar snow jars with santa, a deer and then a snowman! Christmas In A Jar Ornieslisa bongean/primitive gatherings These were really fun…I’m going to try and make real snow globes (like they show on Pinterest) with all the little bottle trees I have also been collecting!  Christmas in a Jar pattern is $10, Kit and pattern is $25 for all three designs.

Next project I was pondering was…what could quilters give as gifts to their quilting buddies? Stitching Essentials is a group of needful things to house our necessary tools that we want to store in a pretty container- you know like their own place not just thrown in the box, keep in mind I also just received a new tiny DOVO that is super cute and is only 3 1/2″ total and wanted to make a “house” for it.  We have those tiny new scissors on our website too!  It’s smaller than any in my 3-pack of DOVO’s and did I mention it’s stink’s cute? I was perusing wools in the warehouse and noticed these beautiful striped wools.  They are just stunning and would make the perfect color palette that either could be made for the traditional or modern quilter, everyone oohed and aaahhed when I showed these to the warehouse girls, young and seasoned, like me…lol. The photo shows the needle case both opened and closed…see that little pocket for your needle threader…This Stitching Esseentials pattern will be $10 and the kit and pattern will be $25 for all three projects…if you love this wool, please order a kit now as I’m sure we will run out of it at some point!3 pieces combo LRlisa bongean/primitive gatherings

So you can see I’ve been doing A LOT of stitching for you and nothing much else…I’m so happy to be home for 3 weeks in a row!!! I can be so productive!!  I wanted to offer these new patterns early enough so maybe you can make them for that special occasion or person or that annual ornament you make 20 of for all of your special people!!  But also keep in mind we are not AMAZON.com and your order will not be there tomorrow…I wish…lol

Now, these will not be on the site until Wednesday probably around 5 ish…that’s a hint if you can catch it…and a reward for reading this post til the end…you will be able to order all of the things we have been showing you this last week, mugs included!!!

all for now…my best to you…if you can, come make an ornie with me thursday-saturday 10-1pm!  LB
