All I can say of WOW!!! We never expected the turnout we had yesterday at all of PG land, WI, CA and Online!!! Thank you all for supporting this event!!! I’m so glad you like all of the designs I have made for you!!! I know Jess will be updating you all soon. I know we will have to order more 2015 mugs and hopefully they will be here by Christmas but know one will promise us that…I never am confident that you will ALL love my mug..we ordered 100 more than we sold last year and I now they are all gone with the internet orders. The shops still have some and if they have any left by the end they will obviously go to the internet orders…..but its hard to guess how many we are going to sell and remember…they say 2015! So I always think, who wants to buy a left over mug from 2015? But hopefully those of you who will get them in the second order will be OK that they will not be as soon as you hoped but are glad you are still going to get one..We appreciate that!
I had a blast yesterday hanging out and making Stacked Tree ornies with everyone…We have a bunch of participants and a lot of looky loos watching how they were done!!! Don’t just watch..MAKE ONE…and then you can go home and make everyone one!!!Super easy and so much fun to make…they we a bit hit! Lots of ladies snuck out before I could snap pics…you didn’t think I noticed.
I was so happy to visit with my WI customers yesterday…I missed you! You are all a huge part of Primitive Gatherings….if you didn’t support our shop there would never be all the extra stuff I get asked to do…fabric lines, books, rulers and a shop in CA. So I guess I feel like we began this journey together and that means a lot to me…
I also want to say HI to those who came from other states yesterday!!! How cool that quilter are willing to travel from afar to visit PG!
So if you are coming today or tomorrow, make an ornie with me and let’s laugh and visit!!!
To those of you who cannot come for those obvious reasons like being 1000s of miles away…hopefully you can enjoy your package when it comes!!! We are already starting shipping yesterday…but we also have to kit so many more…I think every order has the Yuletide Ornies on it…we had 1000 orders the first day!!! So the elves are busy! All for now…LB Enjoy some pics from yesterday!
Sure wish I could have been there to make the stacked tree ornament. I ordered my mug and patterns on line and can’t wait to get them. When I order from PG it is like Christmas when you package comes. Thanks. Pat
Cannot wait to get my package too!! I ordered the ornies with the truck and Santa – love that!! Cannot wait to make a stacked tree too! And the other goodies – like an early gift to myself!!!
As a participant in the Make and Take from Thursday, I encourage everyone to take the time to do it while in the shop. They go fast and are fun to make if you can keep up with Lisa’s instructions. Admittedly, I listen slower than she talks……just sayin’
looks like everyone was having a BLAST!!! I ordered online but then decided to take a vacation day today and went out to PG-CA… 🙂 Made a gold tree which I thought might look good as an earring LOL yep silly me (and yes I posed for Dru to take a picture)!!! I did notice a big difference in the crowd here, we were all in short sleeves and a lot of sandals were seen (it was 80 degrees when I arrived at 10am), your group is all warm in their warm sweaters and vests! Thanks for all the wonderful patterns and coupon book 🙂
Those little stacked tree ornies are amazing. What fun I had reading this post, as I sit here in Alabama in my shorts and flip flops, you guys are bundled in scarves and sweaters! Oh well, anyway, I am drinking hot coffee with creamer and dreaming of Christmas. Can’t wait for my package to arive!
WOW….I’m hoping to see these in Temecula next week. Would be fun to do there too.
Can’t wait for our retreat there.
I also can’t wait to see what Lisa has planned for the next block of the month (or week) like this year.
I’ve finished mine in August and showed it at the store in Murrietta. I was surprised that I was the first to get it done. (I guess some people still have to work)
The lady that designed the quilt was there as well and loved seeing her masterpiece done up. I had to make it
a queen size as all the family has queen size beds. It has over 12,000 pieces in it. For some reason, I had enough left over bow ties to make a baby quilt in the XOXO pattern. I will be bringing both to retreat in Temecula next week for show and tell.
Hello, I was ready to buy ready made trees, But I get the idea that I order the kit and thats great too. If I can purchase trees made already, I will. if not I need the ones I make.
