One of the best things about visiting other states is going to their antique shops and coming home with a prize or two…or so…Here are a few from my last visit to Texas…I get this feeling that there is something out there just waiting for me to discover it…this tiny boat baby quilt must have been sending out the vibes and just about the last store we went into…there it was proudly displayed, just waiting for me to notice in in one of the many booths…also the tiny ironing board and the smallest little iron! Then I’m always a sucker for letters in a box…what can I spell… with what’s here…
so speaking of treasures…I have to send a few of our Primitive Gatherings treasures off to new homes where they will bring joy and be loved…we have added quilts to the ETSY STORE…just click the link and you will be there to see some real booty…maybe ones quilted by a famous quilter or two!!!…see what treasures you can bring home!
Have a great Saturday…its beautiful here…lots of workers here at the lake…(that turd brown house color with more turn brown trim… may finally be out of my life…)they are working on the outside of “boathouse”…today I may swim like a kid again…86 degrees here today…Yay!
Of course that little sailboat quilt had your name written all over it! Perfect for your new space! Maybe it will be the inspiration for your next summer block of the week?
With that kind of weather I bet you’re glad you have the lake right there it’s supposed to be in the high 90s today and going up to 100 by Monday here. The little boat quilt is cute and I can just imagine what you’ll put for words in it. Enjoy your day hugs Liz
Hi Lisa, Antique stores and estate sales are so much fun! I love searching for that special find! I try to go whenever I visit Ohio. I’m jealous of your swim it’s 93 here in CO. Vince & I are visiting to wrap up a few things before the move next month. The baby quilt is adorable, wondering if a guy made it, hence the word “tit” highlughted… Or maybe they just had a very hungry baby!!! Stay cool… hugs, Jakey
