Chart for HST conversion

Now there’s a good question that I always forget to talk about because as a designer…its automatic…you know…if you been writing patterns for years…you just know…so I assume it’s easy and everyone knows…my bad…

Here is a simple chart to help…I will have Teri make a prettier one when we get a chance…but this will help for now you will be able to print it out...half-square-triangles

Thank you so so much. This helps. No one has ever talked about it in any of the multiple classes I have taken, even at the big shows. I will be printing this off and keeping it close at hand.

    Merry Christmas

HST means something completely different here in Ontario Canada! Harmonized sales tax…. 13% on all sales! I like your HST a whole lot better.

Hey Lisa, when you say you hang the squares to dry after starching, how do you do that? Hang from where? Do you have a mini clothes line?

Starch, another question. What is your reason to use spray starch over old fashioned liquid starch to prepare your fabric? Thanks.

This will definitely help out. Thank you for the chart! Pretty or not, it is the info we need most, not necessarily the pretty. 🙂

This chart seems backwards to me. Shouldn’t the numbers down the left side be for finished sizes, and the numbers down the right side be the size of paper you need? I can figure it out, but……………..

Or am I thinking backwards (it could happen).
