Block 17 Triangle Gatherings…

TRIANGLE GATHERINGS BLOCKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED…BOOK COMING SOON!

I hope you are all doing well this morning…unlike Nick who has pneumonia…so I decided to hang out with him yesterday and not work after returning from Normal/Bloomington IL…home of Illinois State University…I had such a wonderful time at the Hands All Around Guild…wonderful, wonderful ladies who took such good care of me and our class…They made lunch everyday instead of having to order out and waiting on us like we were queens…Their facility was beautiful and once I unpacked it all could stay up and out for the three days I was there…We had 29 and 31 students for the two classes and just delightful ladies…eager to learn the next stitch and elated with how easy they are once they are getting hands on attention…here are a few photos of the two days…again…I love that some of them did their own thing and switched up the colors…they came up with the term…some were murky and some were perky…and all are going to make wonderful tablemats….img_0212 img_0213-1 img_0199 img_0211 img_0200-1

Also while in IL…Linda & Jenny brought me to their famous quilt shop…The Treadle…it was definitely an experience…I was pleased to see five of my fabric lines…and Vicky the owner says they do very well for her…There is definitely 3 times more fabric in her store than mine…and she has quite the unique way of displaying it… but It all works and I found a few treasures!!! So if you are in the area…it is a MUST stop for any and all quilters…img_0206img_0204-2img_0203-1img_0205-2

Also…We have just added lots of Finished Goods on our ETSY store…Click HERE to see!  Where it says ITEMS…click on Handmade Finished goods and then there is a category for Hand made Quilts…

It would be really hard for me to shop in that chaos.

You are very brave shopping at the Treadle Lisa. Lol You can usually find what you are looking for a project. If not Vicki knows just where it is.

Wow, look at all that fabric!!!!!! I would be like a kid in a candy store at this shop. Yummy fabric!! I love to dig for a terrific find. You know, I would spend way more time and spend way more $ digging for the deals. Our local is run by a neat nick and she makes you feel awkward if you picked up anything, which is why I rarely buy there. I wish The Tredle shop were here, I’d be there all the time LOL!!!!!

I almost bought a house in a small town near Bloomington…..I was wondering what quilt shops were around. I hope Nick gets well soon. My Aunt is in ICU with pneumonia and some other things going on. With this crazy warm, cold, warm, cold weather it’s no surprise people are getting sick.

Looks like everyone had a great time in Bloomington. I think I will make block17 out of yellow and navy ( PG Lakeside Gatherings). Oh by the way, I looked at your Etsy website and pricing was all listed as DKK (??) not sure of exchange. Hope Nick gets better soon!

I love going to The Treadle!
It is an experience in and of itself isn’t it!
