Block 18 & 19 Triangle Gatherings

TRIANGLE GATHERINGS BLOCKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED…BOOK COMING SOON!

I hope you all are doing well this morning…I had a busy week..how about you?  So to celebrate the weekend I thought I would post two blocks and catch up to my agenda…Did I mention I LOVE seeing your blocks on Facebook!!…I am still trying to find a prize for reaching over 1000 members…hopefully we won’t have 2000 by the time that happens…I hope you are sharing your blocks with your quilting buddies and telling them how much fun it is to do these simple blocks…I know some of us are doing way more than one a week…but that’s our own fault!!!

Yesterday was “little man” day again…he was so happy and fun all day long…So we had to make “Yummies”…and again he was my helper…

Thanks for putting up with me sharing my “little man”…for a reward I’m sharing the recipe with you…This recipe is from Rose Ann Cook from Quilters Emporium in Texas…She made these for one of my workshops and they were awesome!!!  Oatmeal-Walnut-Chocolate Cookies

Also…I think the dough will freeze well to bake at another time…so I am saving a dozen to try it!!!

All for now…How many of you are doing the MODA Blockhead blocks??? We are all crazy quilters!!! Stitch away!!! Who will post the first ones finished?

Your grandson is too big and so cute! Of course I got sucked into Moda Blockheads! How do you not with almost every favorite designer? And I’m so far behind on Triangle Gatherings from being gone for 2 weeks! Most fun sew-alongs ever! Thanks again for these great blocks!

I swore that I wouldn’t do The Blockhead blocks ! But when I saw your post of the one you did, I made my copy of the pattern and I went and bought some fabrics to start with, your’s, Jo’s, Kansas Quilts to start with and will add to them as we go !!!!!!!!!!! I just posted a picture of the quilt I just finished for the shop I work part-time at, and that one is made with the Cake Mix Recipe papers, fun to do, just need to add borders ! I love seeing when you spend time with Little Man, so yes keep posting so we can watch him grow ! Happy stitching 🙂

Can’t wait to try these cookies. Little Man sure is a cutie and I am sure a great helper.
Thanks for all you do to keep us entertained. I dropped off Clara’s Star for Drew. It came out so beautiful.
Val did a great job quilting it. Enjoying your sew along. Still thinking about The Blockhead blocks?>?? Sure have enough fabric. HaHa.

I’ve made this cookie recipe for decades! The baked cookies freeze well and when thawed by being warmed up in a microwave for a few seconds take like fresh from the oven! Love them!

Thanks for the recipe! I may try it tomorrow if we get the snow they are calling for. Cause, you know, calories don’t count on snow days! I see your house looks like mine when the grands come to visit, LOL the floors disappear 😉

Yes I too had a busy week…. I’m back to work after just about 2 months off for the broken toe bones! This weekend has been all about catch up for me, and reflecting if it’s time for retiring from the “job” and to move onto something I love; food for thought. Looking forward to seeing you in April at PGCA, in the meantime I’m reading and loving your blogs

I just happened to to see post on FB that Block #20 has been posted. I did not get an email for it as I usually do. Did you send one? Pam
