TRIANGLE GATHERINGS BLOCKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED…BOOK COMING SOON!
I had to laugh after reading some of your comments on the blog about the snow storm you are hoping to get so you can stay home and stitch!!!
I am supposed to be in Midland TX by now…my morning flight was cancellede due to snow in Chicago… the only thing out of here is at 6:30 to Chicago-to Houston-at Midnight…then a 7 am flight to Midland where I will land just about the time our workshop is supposed to start…
I also want to point out I am not complaining as this is the first time this has happened to me in all my years traveling/teaching….so if all things go as planned…I will find a comfy spot in the Houston airport for the night…I think by the time I land..get a hotel…in a couple of hours I’d have to get up and figure out how to get to the airport again…so our workshop will start a little later than originally planned. and then a Trunk show/Lecture after. I’m sure everything will be just fine…
So as long as I have lots of airport time… I thought we release another block…and…
I have 20 1-day tickets to the Chicago International Quilt Show…If you want one please Email me at primitivegatheringsquiltshop@yahoo.com… first 20 get them…Please add your Name and Address so we can send them out to you…and please only take one if you know you will use it!!! Enjoy Block 20!
Are you sure. I really don’t mind. I’m volunteering at rodeo and should finish around 1030 and it would take me about 45 minutes to get there and you could sleep in bed. What time do you need to be at airport in the morning?
Well Lisa, you are probably in the air about now or I hope so. Folks in Midland TX are so lucky to have you mush on!! Thank you for Block 20 and by the way, the design on the tickets for the Chicago International Quilt show looks like one of your designs, a summertime block of the week I think. Safe travels.
I will take a ticket if you still have one available to give away. Amazing that you have never run into a cancellation in all these years with living in Wisconsin! 🤗
You have a great attitude about the hiccup in your travel plans. : )
Thanks for another block!
Safe travels–hope you can get some sleep somewhere in the night!
Hi Lisa, I hope you found a quiet comfy place to rest in the airport! 🙂 We too here in Eastern Virginia are having a winter storm…last week we had some high 60’s and even a 70 degree day I think…. but this week, SNOW, WIND and sleeting rain. 🙁 At least it makes for a good day to stay in the sewing room and have fun stitching, 🙂
I have to tell you that since the Mid-Atlantic (my sister, mom, friend and I took your crazy mat class) my sister has begun and caught up on the triangle gatherings stitch along!! She got so excited she went home and has been posting her blocks on instagram!! We are both enujoying it and actually we are using the same color palette. 🙂 I need some Snowman Gatherings III!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
After reading and re-reading your post on the Moda Blockhead weekly blocks…I JUMPED IN! Crazy!!! Can’t wait to see what you do for your weeks!
Have a great week !!!
ahh the joys of flying! If I get on a plane, it will be to white sand and blue water. SOON I hope! I was going to ask for a ticket, but last year I found your booth and bought so much I got one of your XL blue bags! LOL My 4 yr old grandson is loving it to keep his legos in now. It’s HIS bag and he loves the big handles.
😉
Hope you made it safely to Midland. West TX folks are so nice. My son goes to Texas Tech in Lubbock and everyone there is so nice. It’s nice to know that I’m 9 hours away in Houston that my son has some nice, kind people there. Wish you could make it back to Houston soon
