Printable Link for Block 5 Blockhead…

I’ve had 3 comments this morning stating there is trouble finding the printable pattern…

It’s here in red…on the bottom of the blog post…I’ve circled it in yellow in a photo of the blog post.

I know it is a long post and maybe boring…but trust me it is in there…sorry to have made it so difficult…it was not my intention…

Click this link  BLOCK 5  to go back to the post and find this exact spot on the blog to print the pattern.  I know it’s a lot of scrolling down to find it..probably because it took me 2 days to write this post. But think of scrolling as exercise…does the body good.

And as long as I am doing a secondary post here…someone just asked the size of the units when pieced together..

2″ four patches

2″x 3 1/2″ LG FG

1 1/4″x 2″ SM FG

This is after you have made the units but before you stitch them together…so they still have their seam allowance on them…

Enjoy your day…

Thank you for taking the time to write these directions. It is always good to try new things. I have been trying the starch method, but now I will starch even more, to try your method of making flying geese. I also appreciated the bloggers’ thoughts on needles, I have been using a size 80/12 but will try a smaller one for the Aurifil threads.

Thanks Lisa for showing us how you made your block this week. You sure did go through a lot of extra effort to make things easier for us. I have been starching my fabrics since reading your blogs and find that it does make a difference.

Fabulous information. Thanks for sharing. Could you please tell me the foot you use on your machine, I see you are using a Juki, I have a Juki too, I find the foot supplied with my machine never gives me a perfect 1/4 inch, yours has a side guard on it ? Always looking for a better way of getting the perfect 1/4 inch seam.

Thank you for sharing your time and creativity with us. I , for one, am grateful for your directions.
I have purchased your itty bitty ruler and love it. I intend to purchase the 5 x 15 next. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for the Printable Link blog update Lisa. I tried to read through your very informative initial block blog yesterday, but as my kids have maxed out our very limited internet, trying to get the long page to load was impossible for me. I adore the block and look forward to making it. 🙂
