TRIANGLE GATHERINGS BLOCKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED…BOOK COMING SOON!
I am so happy to be home for three weeks!!! before I have to go to the CA store…but that’s like going home only hotter!!!! I spent some time outside today…We have two nesting families….our Mourning Dove who am assuming is the same one we had with the old house…if you look close you can see her head….And then we have a nesting Robin…who we tried very hard to deter from building her nest, but being gone a week, we came home to this… Then we have a pair of Mallard Ducks hanging around close to the house and when I tried to photograph them the wind took the door and slammed it so I did not get their pic…so it’s a very fun to watch all the bird action going on here…St. Louis was a blast…which I will be posting about this week…but first we need to catch up on our blocks….we are behind schedule a bit…so two today!!! My sewing room looks like a tornado hit it…but I can pick up tomorrow…right? I’ll just shove the debris aside to get these blocks done!!!
So stitch these up fast…there will be more coming soon!!!
Thank you very much Lisa! Hope you can get some rest… Edie

Loved your post this morning about the birds, I too have some nesting doves, a pair of cardinals, and we have a pair of swans who have nested at our house for the last 3 years now, and it’s fun watching them all ! Have a relaxing next 3 weeks if you can and enjoy the view of the lake !!!!!!!
This is so much fun and so do-able! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Would you ever consider sharing pictures of your home sewing studio? I am moving soon and will have an empty canvas to create my sewing space. Would love to see what works for you!
We have a nesting robin under our front porch eaves too! I’ve been so charmed, watching her. She’s very calm and doesn’t seem bothered by my presence, so I wish her a good morning and tell her what a good momma she is! I also observed a momma starling (I think) feeding her fledgling! Baby bird was so adorable! He/she’d open wide and momma would pop in a worm! Love watching birds! It was fun to read your post as I’m having the same experience here in North Idaho!!
I am enjoying making the Triangle Gatherings blocks and have made 38 -6inch blocks. I have been wondering how I will set the blocks, hoping you will be posting some ideas. I love how you are doing the Blockheads one! Thanks so much for your wonderful patterns and fabrics!
