I love reading your comments so far….especially about your stitching buddies and how excited your all are about spending time together stitching!!! It is the best!!!
Day 10- Our newest product…Pre-cut Pennies (Circles) in many sizes and packaged in 3 different amounts…
Here is the definition of a Penny mat:
In the 1800s, starting around the time of the Civil War, thrifty homemakers would use scraps of wool or felted wool from old clothing, blankets and hats to create designs for mats or rugs. … (Thus, the name “penny” rug). Sometimes, the mats or rugs were backed with old burlap bags or feed sacks. ย
We think they are awesome!!!
We have sizes from 1/2″ to 3 1/2″
We have two color option for now…black or assorted colored
We have them in packs of 25, 50 or 100…Those are the the option we have right now but we will continue to expand our offerings.
We also will be sending along a guide sheet of penny mat configurations and sizes that work well together with any purchase during this event. Here are three different mat I made using the the assorted and black pennies…
For instance the penny mat on the top right consists of 39 stitched total pennies…black 2 1/2″, assorted 2″ and 1″ ย They are also backed in black…to you would need 100- 2 1/2″ black, 50 2″ and 50-1″ assorted pennies to make this mat.
The ย bottom hex penny mat would take 50 assorted 3″, 25- 1 1/2′ black and 25- 3/4″ assorted pennies to make the 19 stitched total pennies.
The mat on the left that is almost finished…seems I was adding the last row to it…needs 16 stitched total pennies-sizes 50-3 1/2″ black-25-2 1/2″ assorted and 25-1″ assorted…
If you want to know what sizes look good together you can always get your circle template out and draw your own configuration of sizes…and then color plan. ย I know you are a very creative bunch and will make wonderful things!
I also use thicker threads for these pennies…8 and 5wts Valadani work the best if you like to see the stitching as shown in my pennies below…We will also be doing some You Tube /Facebook videos on stitching and backing these pennies…So exciting!!!
You also know I love fusible web on my pennies…but I know some do not want it…so we came up with the best alternative…we have cut fusible pennies…the fusible doesn’t necessarily have to extend out the the outer most edge…as long as it keeps the pennies in place is all that matters…for the smaller pennies 1/2 & 3/4″ a dab of glue will work as well…I strongly suggest the fusible for as hard as you try the pennies will slip/move while stitching if nothing is used.
3/4″ for pennies 1″-1 1/4″ and 1 1/2″
1 1/2″ for pennies 2 & 2 1/2″
2 1/2″ for pennies 3 & 3 1/2″

If you want to win a set of pennies that make a mat comment on this post…Have you made a penny mat already? Do you think this is something you want to try? What colors are you interested in?
I made penny mats for my sister-in-laws for Christmas one year. They did not know what they were. They now proudly display them in their houses. I love the different shades of Browns and beige with just a touch of blue. Thank you for the chance to win. Merry Christmas to be ou and your family.
I have never made a penny mat I am new to all this but really interested in wool applique. I love any colors darker shades for winter and lighter for spring. A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.
I havenโt made anything with the pennies. I love the picture of the quilt with the pennies in a grid pattern on it. Seems you could make a very simple quilt and spice it up real cute! Would love to try my hand at pennies!
What a great idea! I am just starting to learn to work with wool and penny rugs are a good place to start I have only used pins to hold the circles down but fusing sounds interesting.
I’ve made 2 Pennie projects. They are fun and I love putting the colors together. One that I’m still working on is a quilt – I had a whole cloth machine quilted and am stitching pennies all over it, randomly. It’s great. When I’m done , I’ll post it. I cut hundreds of circles …….
I’ve never made anything with pennies but love the old-fashioned look. Since I always want some hand work to do, I would love to try this too. Mostly blues with cream, red, and mustard.
Yes – I have made penny mats, but I want to make more! The look of the mat changes completely with different colors! Each color scheme I see is beautiful!
Of course, you are the one that happened to get me started…..there was a free little wool kit you gave away at the Chicago show years ago and the rest is history!
You have piqued my interest in trying this beautiful art/craft form. The photos of the woolen pennies are beautiful. My question is did women use them on there floors or tables or both. I canโt imagine putting them in the floors.
I am in love with these penny mats. I have always wanted to do this. The assorted colors backed in black are my favorites. The little penny rug you made with the star in the middle is fantastic. That’s what I would like to make. Thanks for giving us a chance to win some pennies and create out own masterpiece. ๐
Lisa your penny project are Wonderful!!!! You are an extremely talented lady…Precut is half the battle–especially with circles!!! I would LOVE to win them!!!
You have piqued my interest in making these penny rugs. I love all the colors. Our quilt guild has a โWooly Brightsโ group that meets monthly to create table rugs. I tried it once,on my own, but the wool fell apart when I cut a circle. I gave up and continued quilting and Swedish Weaving.
I have never done pennies but have always wanted too. I have been collecting wool in hopes of getting started but alas i don’t know how to start?? This would be totally awesome to win! Thanks for a chance!
Carmen
Love the idea of precut pennies! What a time saver and you know what they say….variety is the spice of life. Thank you for the inspiration and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I was so excited to see that you were beginning to carry these pennies! I lovery that they are cut out in perfect circles! I’ve done wool projects of yours before and also did your Primitive Garden, but have not done an actual penny mat. Would love to do that! I like blue, red, brown and black. Thanks for the chance!
I have your penny quilt kit that was published last year but sadly havenโt started it because I wasnโt ready to cut all those pennies. This would be perfect. Just need to know if there is a compatible size. Hope the store can help with that. Definitely need the fusible. Great idea.
I have never made one before but we stayed at a cabin many years ago and they had one on a coffee table and I remember thinking it would be great to try and make! I love the thought of having precut pennies….sure would make it a lot easier! Great New Year project!
Great idea. A penny something is on my 2018 agenda, and must admit that I have already started collecting the precuts. I like the idea of adding the smaller circle of fusible as well. Havenโt consider a color scheme yet so guess the assorted is good. Maybe saw a taupe combination someplace that was nice, to get away from always on black.
I’ve done lots of wool but never a penny rug. Would love to make as you can easily adjust the size to fit where you want to use your mat. I always enjoy your 12 days of Needful things because you explain why you love the product and how you use. Thanks!
I have never made a penny rug and have little experience with wool. These are very pretty and would enjoy giving it a try, my favorite colors are red, blue and tan but the mix of colors is very appealing. Thanks for the Needful Things, interesting to see new things.
These may be called penny mats but they look priceless to me! I have never made one but it is on my bucket list – with these precuts it looks like it has moved very close to the top! Thank you for sharing your endless creativity!
I have not made a penny mat as of yet. I like be the look but my favorite is your penny quilt you have in this post. I find I don’t really know what to do with the mats because I hate to cover up all the work I did
I love making penny mats, they made excellent gifts and a touch of color here and there around the house. Winning a bag would make my next project much easier.
I haven’t made a penny mat, but with your precut circles and fusible available, you make it very inviting to try a new technique. I made the candy canes using your precut circles and loved the result.
Oh my! I’ve always wanted to make something with pennies but I always thought I wouldn’t be any good at cutting all those circles and getting them round. I love that they are pre-cut and ready to go. This has significantly lowered my fear factor and I’m excited to give it a try!
I have made a penny mat….several as a matter of fact. It is how I found you and your shop! I had wanted to learn to make one 7-8 years ago and had googled it and you were one of the ones who came up in the search. I find penny mats are addicting to do and like the more muted brights.
Love Penny Rugs, but haven’t made one yet because the idea of cutting all of those little circles and collecting all of those different scraps of wool was just too daunting. I would love the tradional dark country colors- Cranberry, hunter, navy, gold, etc and of course black!
I love your penny mats. I have made one, it was I think a freebie with the summer block of the week one year. Love it. It would be a great mobile project to take with wherever you go. I always have handwork with me.
I have made penny mats and love them. I enjoy hand stitching when I sit in the evening while I watch my favorite shows. Truth-be-told, I love doing anything with wool. Stitch away!!!
LOVE working with pennies. I am in the process of making Christmas trees as gifts. I wish I could have bought your circles. Would have been soooooo much easier. Next time I will buy the precuts from you. Thank you for the fusing tips. Merry Christmas.
Love penny everuthing! This is one great idea. Im traditional country colors so I gravitate towards that color range. Ordering these today so I can start a new project in the New Year.
I made the mat with the star at one of your classes. I would love to make another. I also think Red, and white maybe green would be nice at Christmas time.
I love working on wool projects. I have made a few for myself and also a few for gifts for special friends. I have not tried making a penny mat yet but it is definitely in my future. I belong to a wool club in Florida and would love to share a project with wool pennies with my quilting friends. I really like the mat with the star in the center.
It’s great that we can buy pennies precut now!! I’ve made several penny rugs and cutting all those circles was the worst part!! I’d love to see some brighter colored wool pennies please!!
I have never made a penny rug because I don’t really know how to join them. I don’t know anyone where I live that knows how to do it either. Primitive colours are the wools I like to use.
I’ve never tried a penny rug, although with the black background, they are striking! Cutting out all those little circles with arthritic hands seemed overwhelming – but these circles would make it doable!
I would love to win a kit to make a penny rug. I haven’t had a wool project for a while but really like working in wool. Multi-colored and black would be a great color combination.
I havenโt made a penny mat. The creative mood Iโve been in lately would have me thinking of doing one in reds and greens to form a Christmas Tree. Or fun pastels to do an oval egg-shape for Easter.
Oh, be still my beating heart! Precut pennies and precut fusible…it just doesn’t get any better than that. I love all colors, especially some of the strange golds and greens to add a pop of unexpected color.
Love, love, love penny mats! Yes I have made penny mats and they make great gifts for friends. Using a variety of colors go with more settings but red and green would be great for Christmas!
I have made a few penny mats. My LQS kits pre cuts penny kits occasionally. It’s the way to go! I love all the colors you showed. I keep thinking I should have ordered the candy cane ornament penny’s. I’ll take a look & see if you still have them.
Oh just love wool pennies. Have not made a mat but made pennies to decorate other items, such as a wool bag. Love the feel when making them and they are fun cause they’re fast and so very cute!
I’ve never made one, would love to though. I really like the one with the star in center…also love those colors .Hope your husband is doing well. I know hard it is when a husband and partner in business has had surgery or a major medical issue and you are pulled in all directions. Keep the faith, God Bless and Merry Christmas!
I love, love, love working with pennies! They can be used in many ways. You can make a quick gift for a friend and it looks like you really worked hard. Now with the precut pennies it will make it even faster. You do so many things to make our lives so much easier. Thanks Lisa!!!๐
I’ve seen these mats at shops, but never knew the history behind the pattern . What a fun change to try. I love Fall colors, and one would look great on my dining table. Merry Christmas
I have not made anything out of the pennies, but as I read this I’m thinking some mug mats would make great gifts any time of the year. I could use one right now for my coffee mug. Precut pennies would be great!
Of all the wool projects I have made, I have not made a penny rug. I think they are beautiful and now that you have precut circles, I look forward to making some!
I would like to make a penny mat and I am all about the gold and coral and black. One of the reasons I have not made a mat is because it is hard to make them consistent and this is an awesome solution..thanks!
I have made a penny mat but never finished it because my stitching did not look good enough for me, I guess I will put it on my list to finish next year, precut pennies might of helped,
I have never made a penning mat, but would love to make a table runner for a new dining room table we have just purchased. It is an Amish made table and I think a penny runner would be just perfect.
I have your Star Penny Pinkeep in the works right now! Have made a couple of penny rugs and love, love, love them. Also have Ring Around THe Rosie penny rug flannel by Bonnie Sullivan for Maywood Studio to make a cozy quilt.
I have never made a penny rug before, but have worked with wool and love it so I would love to try a penny rug and any of your colors shown will do! On a side note…I was noticing the cute quilt blocks by each persons name in the comments…cute touch!
I have never made a penny mat, but always admire them. I can think of many places in my home that I would like to have one for. I like the colorful ones. Is there a book of stitches that I could buy or do they mainly use the blanket stitch? This sounds like a learning “winter project” to me. And precut – how good does it get!
Lisa you come up with the best ideas! I love Penny Mats…they just seem to bring the warmth of primitive into the home. The variations are endless and the colors and patterns are so beautiful.
Thank you for coming up with this and can’t wait to make one!
Merry Christmas!!!
I have wanted to do a penny mat for a couple of years, I’m hoping 2018 is the year I get to work on it. I love the muted colors– purple, red, green. Well, just about all colors!!
I have done stacks of โpennies โ for appliquรฉ projects but not a rug. I would like to try a rug in a diamond shape. I love all colors but mostly โdark ugliesโ or primitive.
Merry Christmas and a blessed new year ๐โค๏ธ๐
Hi Lisa and crew! Thanks for the chance to win some pennies! I have never made a penny rug but have made items that have pennies on them. I made your pin cushion for a Christmas gift that has the penny tongues around it. It turned out great and was fun to make. I’ve done other layered penny items in the past, too. ๐
I looove penny mats! After buying some of your pennies at festival, I was going to work on my mat after holidays. Well, just broke my heel, so now laid up in bed I will be doing it sooner. Whoever thought that a “penny” will keep me sane over the next 12 weeks of no weight bearing๐
I love making the penny mats and like new patterns & options of colors. They are beautiful displayed in my home. You keep me interested with all your ideas. Love all your help with new ideas. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
I’ve never made a penny mat or even worked with wool. I would love to try it because they look amazing and something I could take to the doctor’s office and do.
I’ve not made a penny rug — yet — but one is planned for my handwork project after the first of the year. Thank you for the chance to win. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the staff.
I’m so excited! The possibilities are endless as to what I could do making penny mats. My imagination is on overdrive. It’s so nice to have the wool circles already cut out perfectly. Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!
Yes I have made penny rugs before and I use them all! For me the hardest part about making penny rugs is cutting out a perfect circle so with that being said yes, yes, yes, I would try these precut circles! I like scrappy and more muted colors with a few less muted colors thrown in for some added interest ๐
Love the pictures of the pre-cut assorted pennies. Lovely colors! Oh what we could do! I still have to finish the penny mat we started at the NC retreat this year. It was great meeting you there! Love the idea of the pre-cut fusibles also, such a wonderful idea!!!!!!
I have not made an all penny penny rug but have made felted table top rugs
with penny edges for Christmas & Spring. Having pre cut pennies would be fantastic. Thanks
So excited about your precut pennies…..have always wanted to make a penny rug but have not……keep thinking I’ll cut the circles some day!! I love the scrappy pennies and black. Christmas colors, patriotic colors and fall colors would be great!!
I have always wanted to try a penny mat but I have been afraid to invest in the money without knowing how will I can complete the project. I did however, venture outside my box, and agree to be a facilitator for my sit n sew class at my favorite quilt shop . We agreed to learn together on Liberty Gatherings BOM with wool. The wool is on order from Moda and the fabrics are already in the shop. Looking forward to March 1. The old project will be completed in January and we will start this one. We are all in love with this pattern.
I have made one penny mat for my sister a few years ago. She didn’t know what it was, but since being “enlightened”, she proudly has it displayed in her log cabin home. I enjoyed making it, but having these pennies already pre-cut, would make it so much more fun. I love all the colors and would love to win some.
I’ve never worked with wool nor ‘penny’ mats, so this will be a totally new learning aspect of quilting and stitching for me. Some patterns that utilize pennies I had designated for me to make using yo-yos (Suffolk Puffs) from cottons.
Yes, I have made many penny rugs before. I have quite a few and I have gifted many. They are always a treasured gift. I would love the pennies prize ( I love alliteration), and black or assorted would be great! Your wools are the best out there!
Love working with wool and have made many pennies. I have a tip for you: fusible sometimes does not hold and pins fall out so I use staples! They come out easily and the wool fluffs right back up. Win-win.
I have done a small penny mat as a sample in guild one year enjoyed it. Would love the precuts as then I could have more variety . Thank You for the chance to win
Iโve done a fair number of wool appliquรฉ mats, and some have wool pennies on them but I have never done a full penny rug. Maybe thatโs next for me. I like black backgrounds in primitive colors. Thanks for the chance to win. Merry Christmas!
I’ve made a lot of wool projects but so far have not made a penny mat, I think I will place an order. I’m thinking black, gold, and red would be good colors. Thanks for the chance to win.
Love all your ideas!!!
I have not made a penny mat or used them yet in a project. Looks very fun and I see why the ladies of the past made them for useful as well as decorative items. My favorite colors are also those of the past: greens, reds/burgundies, rusts/golds. Who am I kidding? I love all colors and textures…
I am in LOVE with the penny quilt!!! It is def. going on my to do list!!! I have made several penny mats and am so happy to see precut pennies!!! Thank you for all your and your employees hard work!
I would love to make a penny mat for my dining room table. I enjoy the feel of wool and have done lots of embroidery over the years. I love greys, blues and taupe. Thanks for sharing the work you do with us!
I have never made a penny quilt. They are so pretty and I would love to try. My favorite colors are anything primitive I am not picky. I would love to win. Thanks for the giveaway.
Hi Lisa……….I love pennies:) I have worked with them in the past, but my first penny mat is the one I started in your class at the retreat. I’m thinking of stitching it in all different colored valdani’s……instead of the wool thread from class as I’d prefer it to be a little brighter. Or I may use all different reds as my house dรฉcor is mostly red/white and blue. I did order 3 different sizes during the holiday open house and I’m looking forward to using them:) Thanks:)
I LOVE TO MAKE PENNY RUGS โ IN FACT, MY VERY FIRST FORAY INTO WORKING WITH WOOL APPLIQUร WAS A WOOL TABLE MAT, MR SNOWMAN WAS IN THE CENTER AND LAYERED PENNIES CIRCLED HIM – I STILL LOVE IT!!!! MAKING PENNIES BY YOU ALL MAKES IT EASIER THAN CUTTING THEM YOURSELF IS AN ADDED BONUS โ WHAT FUN!! ID LOVE A BAG TO TRY OUT!!!!
Iโve made one small penny rug from one of your patterns. For all of us that are so busy, I think the precut pennies are great! My favorite part of making one is the hand sewing.
Pre-cut anything always makes things easier! Especially in the smaller sizes. and the fusible to pair with them is simply brilliant!
Would love to see themed color assortments – fall/autumn, spring, christmas etc.
I have not made a penny mat yet, although I did take the class and have completed the penny pin cushion; also the penny kit with the bird on pincushion base, scissors/tweezers/threader holder and needle holder. Enjoyed making these projects; would enjoy making a penny mat. Colors? I’m game for any.
I have made a penny mat! I enjoy working with wool. I use all colors just to pop it a little. I really feel no desire to use fusible when working with pennies.
A penny rug has been on my bucket list ever since my friend bought one about 10 years ago.
I was so excited when I saw you were selling litle wool circles! Call me crazy!
Hi Lisa, I’m a primitive girl & I have made one penny mat. Fun sewing! I would love to make another.
You are making this too easy for us, lol, but we love it!
Thanks for a chance to win!
I have always loved penny rugs and mats but have never made any. I would like to make one like yours with black for the bottom and assorted colors on top.
I love penny mats, I have made only one, it is fused onto cotton, it’s really special. The stitching shows up so nicely. I did apply fusible, but I’d love to try to precut circles, they’d be a real time saver!
I am currently working on your Winter Penny Mat as a Christmas gift for my favorite aunt. Hoping to get it finished this weekend so I can mail it to her.
Hi Lisa, I LOVE penny mats! I was soooo excited to see them in your store this month, I bought some black, colored, and all the fusible pennies (Thanks again Amy!)!! The convenience of not having to cut the little circles was like “Oh Yeah!” for a crazy perfectionist like me! Probably why my previous penny mat kits from PG are still awaiting my attention, lol. My hands also thank you! Also, I love all the colors & the black! Hugs, Jakey
Lisa, I have not made a penny mat but am really intrigued by them and would like to try. I love the colors used in the star-centered mat–actually, I love everything about that design!
Love that you have pre-cut pennies in now ๐ I can hardly wait to use them, I’ve been putting off making some penny mats because of the amount of cutting. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I love penny mats, but have yet to make one. I’m sure I have some Penny Mat projects (from Primitive Gatherings) in my long list of UFOs. Hoping to do more wool stitching this year! Love these precut pennies!
Yes I have made a penny rug. Love them. I love the idea of a scrap bag of pennies. We sometimes share the wool pieces so we get variety. Stitching is such soul soothing activity.
Have a couple in the works! I actually made a Santa many years ago that had pennies appliqued on his coat. Wish I had kept it instead of gifting it! I seem to love all colors, but blue has been my color of choice lately.
I love having a penny mat in progress! It’s a good project to take with you. Plenty of stitching to do and minimal supplies needed. The colors and combinations are endless. I like added pennies that are plaids, checks, and textures.
I have made a penny mat, and really enjoyed working on it. Working with wool is such a comforting thing to do at night when you just need to work on something. I love working with all colors, with black as the base.
I have never made a penny mat, but would love to try it. I just got into stitching with wool very recently. I like deeper colors like reds, purple’s, dark blues, etc. I have always admired your work using pennies!
I have not yet made a penny mat but fell in love with your pennies at the November open house and purchased several packages and sizes. I think these pre-cut pennies are the best thing since sliced bread!
I have never made a penny mat before, but I have admired them! I love the designs that you made.. especially the one with the barn star in the middle! All colors are fun to work with.. many times it’s the colors I don’t pick that I end up loving the most!!
I have never made anything with pennies, but this sure looks fun. May I could make a little rug. I think I would like a black base and then assorted colors layering on top. Love that you do not have to cut them or the fusible. Sure would make it easier.
Although Iโve always admired them, I have never made a penny rug. They are on my bucket list! I would use black with multi-colored pennies because the colors remind me of the hand braided rugs my grandmother used to make out of strips of old (wool) clothes.
I’ve never made one but I’ve always admired them and would love to make one in the future, especially if the circles were all cut out already! Thanks for a chance to win!
I have not made a mat before, to tell the truth, I only thought of wool as penny mats. its only been 3 years since I started working with wool and I am hooked with the wool applique. I look forward to making the penny mats. I think I would like some red white and blue pennies for the summer holidays. Then moving on to the fall colors and the reds and greens for the rest of the year.
Love! I have not made a penny mat….yet! Iโd love to try. You make such beautiful items itโs gard not to want to make everything! I love civil war colors when quilting and would probably stick with the same on the pennies.
I have never made a penny project, but on my last order I purchased a bag of the penny fusible. I just need the pennies and I am ready to start. A great variety of color.. as they all blend nicely. Thank you for a great websit and products. I am thrilled with every magazine and order. Diane
Thanks for the wonderful options of pre-cut pennies. I have always admired penny mats, but thinking of making a mat over=whelmed me. ALL those pennies to cut for the front and then the back! Wow, maybe this will be my year. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New YEar.
Yes, I made the star candle mat with pennies around — after seeing yours and purchasing the pattern in your shop. Now I need to make a similar matching one…maybe after Christmas ๐
I would love to try a penny project! I haven’t made one before and I love the assorted colors on the black. The precuts would really make it easier to get the project started.
I have made several penny rug items. My favorite is the penny pin cushion I did in your class at Hershey last summer. Only one ornamental pin is allowed in it.
i have made penny mats and my favorite one made is your star one. I forget the name of it off hand. I love the more subdued colors/more primitive over the bright colors. Also, I look forward to receiving your emails because it is like going into your shop and oooo and ahhhhing over everything in sight. I need to make a trip there again soon! Keep up the fantastic work, I love it!
I love the look of theses little cuties but have never tried making anything with pennies. Would love to try thought! Thanks Lisa, this is always a fun “program” during December, and I usually find something I JUST HAVE to order! ๐
What a great idea. Definitely makes life easier. I would love a pack of rich dark colors to go along with black pennies or background. Quick way to complete my project!
I like the idea of a easy mat as this. I have never made one. I definitely would like to try this in future. Thanks for the giveaway. I am attempting the snowman ornament right now. Your kit and patterns are wonderful. Love the snowfalling on this website.
I would definitely want to try the pre-cut pennies. To me, the worst part is cutting all those darn circles, and hoping they actually look like circles! I do love penny rugs and mats.
I would definitely want to use the pre-cut pennies. At least then my pennies would actually be circles! I do love making penny rugs and mats. It’s almost instant gratification.
I am in the process of making a penny rug but ran out of pennies and I haven’t bought more bottoms are black and the two tops are muted different colors. I love them I should order some
First, Jace is precious! I HATE to put binding on my quilt. I love making the continuous bias binding and machine stitching it on but the hand stitching is way too slow for me. My unbound quilts stack up unfortunately!
I have admired penny mats that I have seen at Primitive Gatherings for a long time. I love the variety of colorful wools used on the dark wool backgrounds. The fusible pennys in dark would be great.
Iโve never made a penny mat, but I love working with wool, so it seems like something I would like to try! Colors? Black, grey, blue, green, maybe!?!?
I knew it, I knew you would come up with an easy solution for us! We talked about this in 2015 when we were at your Retreat House. I just knew that you would figure it out and make life so much easier for us. You are brilliant! This will make Pennies in the Cabin so much easier to make. When you got back from Houston I ordered some packages and will now get more plus the fusing. Any chance of you making 1 7/8″ for the Pennies in the Cabin pattern?
Thank you Lisa!! Merry Christmas to you, your family and all the great PG staff xo
What a perfect idea. I have “your’ penny pin cushion. I thought I would start with that. Thanks for the opportunity to win something–it would be the first time ever
