I learned so much with Lisa—how to thread a needle and knot a thread, using Doug Keri’s ruler for square attached to another and sewn in a triangle, what to do with fabric I have had for a long time, blanket stitch. All amazing. Thx to you, Lisa. Love ya girl, Barb
Thanks for sharing the fun with us, Lisa. While California is closer than Wisconsin for me, it’s still 1400 miles away. One of these days I will join in the fun!

Lisa, loved, loved, loved your pics. So interesting to see that the camaraderie of quilters is the same in Cali as in Ohio. I almost felt as if that empty chair were mine, and that I had just gone over to the iron for a minute. So inspiring to see the work on many so projects in all stages. Please do more of these posts as the opportunity arises.
WOW a lot of great projects on Friday!!! Having been there Thursday seeing Betty working on her quilt I’ll have to say Betty’s “Among Friends” quilt is LOVELY with the top finished; great job Betty!!! I had a great time at Thursday’s class and as always learned something new. Thanks for coming to CA to teach Lisa, your creativity is always an inspiration to me. Oh and Thanks again for all the tips for my Spring Crazy Table Mat and ideas for setting the 2017 HST’s, I’m looking forward to seeing yours.
This was such a lovely post. I enjoyed the photos of the quilts as well as the story. There were some real beauties being worked on in your classes. Among Friends is amazing and I also liked the flower garden one.
