I am so excited for this upcoming 2018 Block Heads…mainly because we have been able to invite another designer to join in!!! I can’t wait to introduce to you who I have invited to join in our fun adventure!!!
The first block head block is by Lynne from Kansas Trouble Quilters…Click HERE to go to her blog to get the first block head pattern for block 1!
This is where I am supposed to show you my block….well…I have brought fabric to Canada to make Lynne’s block…but…there has NOT been anytime for me to sneak in any sewing time…Arrived on Sunday…Class all day Monday, Trunk show on Monday night…All day class on Tuesday supper by the lake last night…all day class today…home tomorrow, so when I arrive back in the states I owe you a block by Friday I will have it ready and will be posting my version of Lynne’s block!!! I will be using a medium grey background with navy, cream and maybe a few more accent colors….I will have a starter kit available up on our PG site soon so if this color arrangement interests you and you want to purchase my fabric packs…I will be posting that link hopefully on Friday too!
This is my first time teaching out of the country…These Canadian ladies are soooooo Awesome…I cannot believe how they have teated and spoiled me with their gifts and hospitality…Here is a peak on yesterdays class…Monday’s class was a little hectic as the class kits arrived that morning at the local post office…whew…disaster averted…but we got a late start and I had no time to take pics….(so please forgive me Monday students)…
Your trip to Canada looks like fun. You are teaching the same workshop I took! My runner lives in our camper all summer. Have fun and thanks for the block heads. 😉
I wish I had known you were coming, I would have booked time off work as that is only 3 hours away from me~I hope you come back to the area again in the near future 😉
I have been to the blog, Kansas Troubles several times to try and open the link for Blockheads 2, the first pattern. It always comes up as Oops, something happened, try again. So frustrating. What am I doing wrong?
