For Real…I am in Miami….for the trip of a lifetime…We (Olde Green Cupboard Girls) are bring 50 some quilters along with some significant others (about 80 total) on a transatlantic trip from Miami to Rome…2 weeks…with stops along the way…I can’t wait to tell you all about it here…I have been working like a maniac to stay ahead because I will gone and I am exhausted and ready for some fun! I cannot even tell you all the things that we are currently working on! I think Debbie at Moda passed out that she received our “stuff” for Spring market ahead of the deadline! Because I will be gone…lots of stuff like this…we also have three lines of fabric that we are working with that is not even being sold yet!!! Spring Market Fabric called Urban Farmhouse Gatherings….Farmhouse Flannels July release…. and our Shop Hop fabric has landed and we are busy trying to come up with some fun Wisconsin stuff…and then we recently sent back out Fall Market line…Indigo Gatherings!!!! Wool boxes and book deadlines….and on and on!!! This vacation is a necessity!!!
What is especially cool about this cruise is even though it is a quilting cruise…it is a UFO, bring your own project…which translates for me….nothing to bring…no kits, no projects, nothing…just what I have to stitch on…I will be available to help them with their projects and we will have conference room for stitching…but no official class times and such….we can just have a blast quilting and vacationing!!!!!
This 14 day cruise was super cheap…1400$ for a balcony!!! So things like this do not happen very often…It is a repositioning cruise…meaning we will not sail back…once we get to Rome….we are renting an apartment and staying 5 days and then flying home…with my ticket home it was under $2K…again…did you hear me say great opportunity.
We do a couple of events a year as a group…Here are the next two up…
You will need to contact Gloria to sign up, my shop does not handle this.
In September…we are going to sunny Jacksonville Florida….here are the details of this trip…I copied their post…so I do not miss anything…the retreat is over half full already…we offered it first to the girls who lost out on our Outer Banks retreat last year….so if you think you want to attend…do not wait!
