Primitive Christmas Event…

The time has come…all the Elves have worked so hard…If you are reading this early I am on my way home from California…from a great retreat with 60 fabulous ladies… Here are the items I have contributed to our event…there are lots of items from other designers the shop girls have made so those will be on the Christmas Event tab too…

So onto the projects…while I was away…this quilt arrived home from Linda…thequiltedpineapple. I can already tell it’s going to be even more spectacular in person…This is the first of four patterns you will receive when you spend $30 in regular priced merchandise.

 Santa in the Pines…quilt.  IMG_7317

Here is a close up of the jolly ol’ fella…This quilt or runner goes together quickly…Santa is made with full size templates, the tree blocks go together fast and they all get trimmed with the HRT loc-bloc rulers

For a scaled down version….Santa In the Pines Runner

Jake quilted the runner with a simple allover quilting design…We love it!

So remember you will get this pattern FREE! Oh…I almost forgot…we also did a primitive version of this guy using all of my Primitive Muslins…Jake is finishing the quilting up as I write this…lets hope it makes it to the store by Thursday…image

Up next…Santa Stitchery! I just taught this at the retreat….they ALL loved it…some finished it…stitch this with a #5 wt thread…it makes it go fast and we love the look of the 5 wt gives… You also can order a frame…Here is a link to go to the Santa Stitchery.  This project makes a perfect gift…IMG_7141

Peace Love Joy pillow….IMG_7155

This one was also a hit at the party/retreat this week…click here to order a kit….Peace   Love  Joy pillow

At last, the FREE pincushion kit!!!! You will automatically get one of these two designs, but if you want to choose which one you get, you have to purchase it. Click HERE to order another – or another or six – or some sand to fill them with! img_7241.jpg

So…now we have a bunch of new things for you so spend $30 on to get your free patterns and pincushion kit!…

Quilt Block Ornies!!!! You can make them with us at either the CA or WI shops….or you can order them and do them at home!  They are double-sided and easy as can be to make…mounted on a porcelain base with modge podge!  I’m kind of sad I won’t make it home in time to run the Make ‘n Take…so we made the project super simple so anyone can do them!

Bundt Cake Ornament…

!image.png

I am not real happy with this pic…it looks much better in person….so keep that in mind…you’ll love this little bunt cake on the tree!  It is about 3 1/2″.

Winchester Rose…I love making mini’s and this 21″ quilt is perfect for Christmas – or anytime really!  HST papers are included in the pattern and three fabrics make it simple but still stunning!IMG_7220

Ornaments from the Old Green Cupboard….IMG_7231

My friend, Gloria, has made a gazillion ornaments this year…so I asked if I could take some of her patterns and remake them…I sized them all down under 6″ and the pattern and kit is only $35 for all six!  Lots of the retreaters went home with these after watching me make the set for the CA store…

Antique Christmas Past…

IMG_7142

So…I can’t wait to get home and photograph this on my table with my red-ornament tinsel tree on it…Amy made this recreation from an antique in my collection – look for the original in an upcoming post…this beauty is easy and only 49-ish-inches…..

Life of a Snowman…

IMG_7228IMG_7230

This is the 2nd in this series of three designs on the 6″ stands…I LOVED making these…..do you have the Fall Pumpkin Stand ones already? You can display them one at a time during the season…or keep one and give the other two away…or you can display them all!  Scott made a bunch of stands ahead of time so please order them as well!

Click this link for a bunch more items the girls have put together for you to choose from – for gifts or for you!

And…thanks to a bunch of you who have pre-ordered your 2019 Snowflake mug….img_5482

They turned out awesome and we have a limited number in the store…there will be no mugs in CA this year due to breakage during shipping last year…so they are only available in WI and we did the pre-order sale to guarantee that you will get them in time for Christmas…if you did not pre-order there may be chance they may come after if we have to order more than we have now…

So here ya go…lots to choose from…Have fun and let’s get the season started!

my best…

Lisa

As always, so many fun and wonderful designs. But I must say that Santa in the Pines is stunning! What a great take on the pine tree, and slipping Santa in there–brilliant!

I ordered a bunch of the things; love them. I have a question. I have a possible problem with my wool box. I emailed at the contact address for the shop. I received a note saying message received. I then got a message from Yahoo saying The address was not valid. Could you tell me how to contact you. Thanks, Nina Christman
