I love taking down the Christmas decorations….and the house seems really bare…I like it that way…but…I have something new to put up this year!
This is a quilt kit called Sweet Christmas….but I think is should be called Sweet Winter! The kit comes with 2 Loc-Bloc rulers to make the half rectangle blocks…the same two rulers I used to make the Santa in the Pines kit pattern for our Christmas event! So if you did not purchase them yet…you can make two quilts now with those rulers…as we all know they are a little pricey but worth it! I love how that lots in the seam when trimming them down to the perfect size.
But if you do not want to make all those triangles you can just make the panel as quilt. We have a few boxed kits from Moda left in our WI store!
As you can see here…all I have to put away yet are the red & white quilts! And then run all the red tubs down the stairs!
So what have you all been up to? I am still organizing all my stuff and working on new quilts and projects for you all! Talk to you soon! Can’t wait to announce some fun stuff!!!
Hi. I would love to send you a check for diabetes for you on a bike. Let me know who I make the check out to and who I send it to for your credit.
Thanks. Diane
Lisa I made the hst quilt a couple years ago and it is my favorite after my red/white quilts. I finally got back sewing in my sewing room. Can’t wait for the indigo’s to show up and my door and shop. Paula in KY
I can’t wait to see what you are working on!! I can’t wait for winter here in NW Indiana and to be snowed in. To see the kids out playing in the snow sledding and ice skating.
Wishing you the best,
Geri
I agree, leave your red quilts up until after Valentine’s Day. This snowman quilt is adorable! I’ve been looking for loc bloc rulers for my QST. I’ll check your site.
Hi Lisa. Finally getting back to my crazy quilt fall matt that has been on the back burner during the holidays. Will be putting my Christmas items away, leaving the snowman area til February. Then I can sit and sew. Have a great month. Teri from MI!
Lisa, I love all of your collections. I haven’t even finished my Farmhouse Gatherings and Urban Farmhouse Gatherings quilts (three each, and it was tough to discipline myself to make only three from each collection — plus pillows!), and I’m impatiently awaiting my Indigo Gatherings kits (again, three 🙂). Here’s my request: Would you do another Christmas/holiday collection? I came to quilting well after Christmas Gatherings and Little Seasonal Gatherings; I managed, however, to snag a bunch during the 2018 12 Days of Christmas and on Etsy. Alas, my stash is gone now… made into now-cherished (and much-admired) quilts — not admired for the technique, which is questionable, but rather for the fabric designs. Please do another Christmas collection… I think I cleaned you out of Snowman Gatherings x in December!
