We all love going on Retreats! Quilting retreats are the best!!!! What’s the best part?…the people!! We have so much fun on retreat and Quilters are the reason.
I want to show off 3 of the 6 projects you will be making…during the August, 5th-8th in beautiful downtown Appleton WI at the Red Lion Hotel, if you decide to join us!! All the kits are included for the retreat and I think there are a nice variety of projects!..and don’t forget the goodies, lots of goodies!…but…if you just want to stitch on your own project and take the kits home that is perfectly fine as well! We are about 3/4 full so please don’t wait too long!

Lynne has been designing quilts and fabrics with Moda for over 20 years Visit her HERE to read all about her…But really I am sure you all know her fabric, but… If by chance you do not know her, you can get to know her! Lynne has some cool techniques she teaches for you to try!

I was lucky enough to retreat with Lynne from Kansas Troubles once upon a time in Danville Illinois. We all had a great time, and as a self confessed quilt groupie, I was thrilled to be able to visit with such a talented designer and get to know her as a quilter. If you ever have the opportunity to go on a retreat , I recommend it. You will be able to recharge your quilting soul . You’ll learn so much and make new friends.- Carol Detloff
I so love all that is here. Daughter and I live together on the Oregon Coast and both quilt. Unfortunately, not able to travel to Wisconsin but, big wow, I want to make each of those quilts!! Hope those patterns become available. We have your latest 2 gathering books and am planning on getting the fabric when it comes out!! Also, the Sisterhood of Scraps. Love it. Have been to your shop in Temecula when visiting my other daughter. Shop and staff (Dru especially) are terrific.
I have not gone on a retreat with you yet, but that will be remedied in April at Outer Banks. I have been on two fabulous cruises with a third in my not so distant future. Lisa hosts a wonderful gathering with guidance as you need it, no matter how many times you might need it. The people are wonderful, which just affirms the idea the people, like her, are warm, friendly, and FUN!
I went to Quiltstock with all four of these teachers the last couple of years in Dallas. It was a blast and I wish it was being held again!
So much fun…. I live locally and am hoping to go and that when I figure it out there is still room!
For those of us who can’t attend will there be a kit and patten later on.?
I attended the KT and Friends in Kansas last June and loved it… Best retreat I ever attended and I attend alot of them… returning to Kansas this June for the next one and also attending the Appleton one… love this combination of classes… looking forward to all the upcoming fun…
I too went to Quilt Stock in Dallas the past two years. These gals are awesome to take classes from. You learn so much from them and you have a great time. Never know what Barb and Mary will come up with next. Great time and well worth the trip. Looking forward to seeing all of you again in August. Come join us in all the fun.
I also went to Quilt Stock the past two years and LOVED every moment of the classes offered by these instructors so when I heard about this retreat I was over the moon! Can hardly wait for August to get here! My packing list and “planned stops along the way” list keeps getting longer and longer!
