I found a little time to start this journal of building our DREAM shop, warehouse and Retreat house…I will try and share all the details each week…and now that a month or so has gone by there is some things to show…
The first picture is Brandon and I….He is the man with money…He was in my corner from the beginning to sell my dream to the bank board and make this happen…
Corey, from Keller, the builder…Collin, site panning and surveying. Jim and Keith from Keller…Mike and Brad…my brothers from August Winter who will take care of the HVAC…This is the crew that will be hands on building the actual building.
Everyone who came to the Ground Breaking..
Most of our Awesome Employees…
The Town of Winchester crew..they were on-board from the beginning and made this easily happen with zoning and permitting..I could not wait to run up this hill and let the excavating begin!
Here, we brought the boys out to have some fun…
We tried flying the dragon kite…no wind…
My grandson’s had a blast with the big trucks….one is a little more cooperative for pictures than the other.
The first of the footing’s going in…
and the here is the current situation as of this week. 11/24/2020..walls and footing’s all the way around!
The kiddies are way too cute!
I’ll have to make another trip to Wisconsin when you open your new store….something to look forward to….
Thanks for the pictures.
Your grandchildren are adorable. So glad forvyoubin this new adventure to your life. I’m so glad my husband and I moved from northern Win to Malone. We will be rather close. Love your shop. Happy Thanksgiving to you are your family. Looking forward to more updates.
I think this is just Amazing for you and all your crew. You have been truly Blessed. I know from your story that the road has had many twists and turns. Much Happiness and some terrible Sad times. Never doubt that you deserve this.
How exciting to see dreams being fulfilled in this tough year. Congratulations. Wishing good health, good weather & no building delays for everyone involved.
I love your stuff. I am continually inspired by your story and stores. I am thrilled that you are expanding and growing when we have lost so many inspirational shops.
That being said, you’re representing something so many of us love…please be an example and require that masks be worn. This is not a hoax. Hundreds of thousands are ill and dying. I want you and your talent to be around for me. Yes, I am selfish…. and I care.
I wish you all the luck in the world! A fantastic project. My husband set up an animal hospital from scratch a few years ago and we know all the joys and pitfalls of such an undertaking, it’s hard work but worth it in the end! Stay sane!
Congratulations, Lisa! You’ve worked so hard to build your business and it’s nice to see it continuing to flourish.
I am hoping some day to get back to your neck of the woods and check your new digs out!!
This is so awesome!! You have opened up a new world of wool appliqué for me that I absolutely love. I would love to travel to Wisconsin from Texas to see what you are creating. Thank you for sharing your progress and connecting with all of us. Best wishes for a blessed Thanksgiving.
Gentlemen…..start your engines!!!! lol! Congrats! Fun for us to watch the progress from a distance…but this whole process is going to be a lot of hard work for you and your dream team! Wishing you all the best (and a lot of energy)!
How excited you must be! Congratulations on getting to see your dream take shape. Life is always full of joy when you have littles in your life! They have a different way of seeing things and are so forthcoming with their thoughts. This is definitely worth looking forward to.
So excited for you and your Primitive Gatherings family! This is so exciting for all of us too!! Thank you for sharing pics of the progress. This will be fun to watch! Glad our Midwest weather is cooperating so far!!
