December…it’s Ho Ho Ho time…

Happy December!

I always love the first part of December…getting ready for Christmas is always a fun time…

Here are a few Holiday tips to start now…Get those Holiday cards written and sent asap!

Plan your presents whether you are buying them or making them…set your plan for getting them ordered now.  Plan your attack for the gifts you are making, make a list and make sure it is manageable…be realistic…and then stick to it…Do not let anyone steer you off your course.

Start decorating the house so you can enjoy it for a full month…there is nothing worse than putting out decor for week or two…it’s ok if you do not get it all done at once…I like to break it up into rooms and save the tree for last for the grand babies to help!  Slow down and enjoy the whole process….Also any decor you do not use…set aside and give it away or donate it asap!

I know we have lots of new people here so I have a fun pillow project for you that I offered a couple of years ago as a FREE pdf download.  This will help if you need a quick gift or need a little extra accent for the bed, a chair or couch! I will try to get another free one for those who already have this one…

I live on a lake in beautiful Butte Des Morts, WI. I have three sons: Lance (forever 29), Luke 33, Jake 32, and two grand-babies, Little Man and O-Bug. I've been married to the love of my life Nick, since 1998 when we started our crazy adventure together! I am a quilter, rugger, and gardener. I also love to cook when I get the chance. Thanks for visiting and supporting Primitive Gathering Quilt Shop where I try to bring you the best Moda fabrics and wool projects anywhere!

Can’t wait for Twelve Days of Christmas, my very favorite!🎄🎄🎄
Merry Christmas to you and you wonderful staff!

  3. After a day of teaching 2nd graders I LOVE being on the other side of the desk with you in charge of the class! Thank you for sharing your talents and oh so much joy!

  4. You have turned me into a pillow maker! I love making them and am making them as Christmas gifts for family and friends. I have saved and referred to your zipper tutorial MANY times! Zippers use to give me anxiety but not anymore. Thanks Lisa. I’ll have to check out this new book.

  5. Thanks for the pattern. I love making seasonal pillows. Have a blessed Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season.

  6. How do I find more information about the workshops? I’m new at this and I’m not sure how this works. Thank you!
