Black Friday *Free Pattern and Twilight Stars Block Release #24

Hey everyone. Happy Black Friday to you! Even though my staff and I are still recovering from the craze of Primitive Christmas, I couldn’t let Black Friday slip by without throwing out a little something fun to celebrate what most people consider to be the official kick-off to holiday shopping. Since you all seemed to enjoy my free birthday and Primitive Christmas patterns, I thought I’d keep it going with another *free (*with minimum purchase) pattern to celebrate Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!

Now through 11:59 p.m. (CST) tomorrow, Saturday November 25th, 2023, when you spend $30.00 or more at primitivegatherings.us on regular-priced, in-store merchandise you get a FREE PDF pattern download of “Stripes and Stars” (*tax and shipping do not count toward your purchase total – sale excludes CommentSold purchases, Bernina, Juki, Subscriptions, pre-orders, gift cards, TOYS for TOTS donations, and sale items)!!!

Stripes and Stars is another clever collaboration piece, designed mostly by Alysha and partially by me. Isn’t it cute?!? At 56″ x 56″, it’s the perfect size to display hanging on the wall or anywhere else you decide to put it. I love it in red, white, and blue as shown but I also did a red, white, and green color way for another option. If you’d like to see how that looks, you can see it on last Thursday’s LIVE show by clicking the STITCH icon at the end of the post. Don’t forget! Pattern downloads are FREE with a minimum purchase of $30.00 or more (tax and shipping do not count toward your purchase total) through tomorrow – Saturday, November 25th, 2023. Kits are available for both on our website by clicking HERE!

Well? How was your Thanksgiving? I’m doing exactly what I planned – laying low, feasting on leftovers, and stitching as I please. I have a feeling many of you are doing the same. If you’re sitting around and looking for something to stitch, I have just the thing for you. Even thought it really doesn’t feel like a Friday, it indeed is which means conveniently enough, it’s time for the next Twilight Stars Quilt-Along block release. Block numbers for Release #24 are numbers 19 and 28.

As always I’m really loving all the creativity a good quilt-along will bring, especially when it comes to everyone’s block photos. They’re great! I appreciate every single one of them and hope you keep them coming. I do have to say that this week, our lucky block photo share winner really caught our eye by making her block post an entire family affair in the middle of deer camp. If you know anything about WI or deer hunting in general, you know that deer season just opened last weekend. It’s a huge deal for a lot of families, full of tradition, camaraderie, fun, and of course, hard work. It’s a fundamental time of year that helps to feed many people all year-round. In other words, deer season is super important. People who hunt take it very seriously and don’t let much get in their way of it. That’s why it’s super cool that Kristen Trader and her family took the time to stop for a second to show off her beautiful work. So for that, I think some caramels are in order!!!

Prizes, prizes! I have a few more to mention before I get back to gorging on leftovers… As a thank you for leaving me a comment on the blog last week, Julie M., Sherry C., and Diana N. have made the nice list… Meaning you all need to check your emails for a prize confirmation notice from Heidi! You can also email her at heidin@primitivegatherings.us if you think you are one of the lucky winners. Either way, thank you!

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their holiday weekend and that you manage to stay – mostly – out of trouble. PLEASE, please, please remember that both the retail store and The Gathering are CLOSED tomorrow – November 25th, and Sunday – November 26th, 2023. We’ll be back in full swing on Monday at 10:00 a.m. (CST). Rest up… Christmas is coming, and you’re about to have a lot to do!!! See you soon! ~Lisa

You are so right about Deer Hunting in Sconnie. It’s a beautiful tradition and brings multiple generations together.AND- often precious girl time – for shopping, lunching, and stitching together. Everybody wins- whether your hunters bag a deer or you don’t get a minute to stitch. It’s still a treasured tradition in WI. Hope you are all full, thankful, and ready to get comfy cozy for the next few months!❤️

What a beautiful pattern, Lisa! I kinda miss venison (born & raised a Mich girl and my dad was a big hunter), but my husband hasn’t gone hunting in quite a few years. Enjoy your weekend!
